How does God Judge those who never heard the gospel of Christ?

People who never heard about Jesus' death and resurrection are still without excuse on Judgment Day. You should have read and taken to heart the Romans 1 passage:

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.
Rom 1:19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
Rom 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Rom 1:21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. (ESV)

However, I believe that there will be degrees of just punishment for unbelievers, depending on the light that they had, as per the parable of the talents, for example.
My response to "FREE" was tongue in cheek, bouncing off his theory (which I agree with) that God predicates the severity of punishment on knowledge of His will. Even the OT passages cited (by me and others) shows those who sin in ignorance still must sacrifice for their sin.

Only he knows this
Yes, He does. But the logica remains, as God says belief or non-belief saves or condemns, then everyone must be "informed" to be judged.

Peter's declaration covers this:

For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. (1 Pet. 4:6 NKJ)

For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. (1 Pet. 4:6 NKJ)
This refers to people who heard the gospel, believed and died before 1 Peter was written.

The only way to heaven by faith in Christ. Those who never heard of Christ are in hell. There is no 2nd, 3rd, 4th chances.

For a man who's never heard the gospel, he's "gathered to his kins/people" (Gen. 25:8), wherever his ancestors ended up in, he ends up in the same place.

Mankind was judged in Adam to return to where they came from. The ground.

The just shall live by faith.

Nature is very cruel.

I was thinking of those who lived there for thousands of years before Europeans showed up with the gospel.
Why wouldn't their soul come before the one who judges? This is the destiny of everybody.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment
Everyone does come before the one who judges. Who stated different? The question concerns those who have NEVER heard of Jesus. I stated He would make a judgement concerning them. And also stated nothing is hidden from Him. He knows what we know.

If "faith in Christ" is replaced by "obedience to the amount of knowledge revealed", then zero knowledge is bliss. The wicked who had zero knowledge of Christ, are saved!
But then you run into this verse:

Acts 4:12
And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.

The congregation I attended in high school taught (on the basis of this verse) that everyone in the Old Testament was burning in hell because they did not know that Name.

All who put God in a finite box will never understand anything. God dwells in eternity, Christ's sacrifice covers sins since the foundation of the world, that is when names of the saved were written in, including OT saints:

"Whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Rev. 13:8 NKJ)

The gospel was preached to eveyone who died since Adam, and then the choice is made:

For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. (1 Pet. 4:6 NKJ)

How was the Lamb slain at the foundation of the world? When God created, all space-time past present future came into existence, in that moment. Therefore, that is when the Lamb was slain, even though in linear time and space it wasn't until Calvary.
