How many holes do you have pierced in your ears?

Pierced? None.

I glanced at this post as I was scrolling away and it looked like it said:

Pierced? Nose

:toofunny :toofunny

Dont think many would want that, they wouldn't like to be led around by the ring in their nose!

:biglaugh

questdriven:

...but you yourself wouldn't not go out with a nice Christian young man simply because he wore studs in his pierced ears, would you?

Blessings.

No, that in itself wouldn't stop me.
(My mom wouldn't like it, though. xD I won't be dating or anything until I'm at least in my 20s, anyway.)

Blev:

Well, actually, a lot of women get one (including the lady at the local bank; but this is neither here nor there.)

Folks: thanks also for those who have voted already in the poll, above.

Well, it can be nice for a young man, too, I guess. (But if you did, would you think it odd if he had earrings already and you hadn't had yours put in yet? but maybe it's not a fair question, really.)

Anyway, you mentioned your mom: if you wanted someone to go with you, then maybe she would be the one that you might ask to come with you to the parlor or mall, to hold your hand while the rings went in?

Blessings.

I don't think many Christians are against ear piercings. I've never met one who was. And I'm in the Bible belt.
Me too. I'm in a different Bible belt, obviously, but one nevertheless, and I have found no-one that is against piercings on Scriptural grounds.

N: Plenty of Christian women do it, anyway, at least once and often more times.

Blessings.

Maybe, but I wouldn't think it was that odd.

And maybe...though it could be a friend, too. Actually, I'm a bit reserved about that kind of thing. I'd probably just grip the chair.

Well, this is nice, anyway, that you would quite comfortable with a bf with more earrings than you. It's what his (and your) heart is, before the Lord, that counts, isn't it?

So when you go to have it done sooner or later, you'd maybe prefer it to be your own private experience, then, as the 2 (or how ever many) rings are embedded?

Blessings.

Yeah.:)

And, pretty much.

That could be fun. xD

questdriven:

Well, it wouldn't be too much of a shock for folk you know, I would guess, anyway; it's such a widespread practice.

But it sounds like you will really enjoy suddenly surprising them with the new rings firmly inserted, right?

Hehe, yeah, to see what they say.
Although I'd be a bit worried about my mom's reaction. She's not against earrings, but still. So I'd possibly mention it to her before I got it done or whatever.

questdriven:

Sounds like you'd want her to know about your first holes beforehand, then. Anyway, you never know; she might get some more holes done herself if you go have it done (often happens with mothers and daughters).

Blessings.

Maybe. I know she used to have piercings in her ears, a long time ago. They're closed up now. But I think she said she wouldn't get anymore. Not sure why.

Well, you must know your mom, but if she saw your 2 (or whatever) new holes with rings in, she might be motivated to get more done; you never know; it wouldn't be unusual, if she did, would it?

Blessings.

I'm kind of old fashioned I guess when it comes to that, as it seems a few on here might be, but I know that's quite common today.

Blev:

Well, I see.

Like, if you're old fashioned about young men (and older) getting ear piercings, so are you for example also old fashioned about the many women (younger and more mature) who get double (or more) ear piercings?
