[_ Old Earth _] How well do you actually know The Theory of Evolution?

How does DNA support evolution?
DNA supports that traits are inherited. The field of genetics has shown that traits are inherited. The theory of evolution predicted that traits would require a mechanism to transfer aquired traits. DNA fit to a t. Genes were discovered by Mendel at the same time Darwin was working on the Origin of species.

When you say the most man like how would you explain God the Son becoming a man

Immaculate conception. That's what God did.

how would you explain we humans being created in his image..

God is a spirit, and as Jesus says, spirits don't have bodies. So the image is in our souls and minds. We are like God in that respect, not in being an animal.

Then who did Nebuchadnezzar see in the fiery furnace with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego?

Daniel 3:24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellers, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

I doubt if a Babylonian king's adviser knew of Jesus. More likely he was talking about an angel, not God.

Better read that again, it was the king that replied to his adviser..

Why would a pagan king be able to distinguish between a manlike form that was an angel, and a son of God?

The same way the Lord reveals himself to us, pagan king or no, like the way he reveals himself to you, we are all Gods creatures. Jesus made us in his image, the same Jesus that's going to ride in here on a white horse, and by the looks of things that time is very near even at the door..

Spirits don't have bodies? Perhaps in their natural spiritual state it is not a flesh body but the Lord can and does take on a body to interact with people in scripture. Genesis 18 is a great example. Two Angels and the Lord came to Abraham and spoke and ate with them. This was easily more than 1000 years before Jesus came to the earth to redeem His people. So to say that spirits do not have bodies would be incorrect.

I would like to see some transitional fossils for the time period between Homo Erectus and modern man.

H. ergaster, H. heidelbergensis might be some others. Since there isn't a lot of difference, other than the skulls, from H. erectus to H. sapiens, it's hard to see where H. erectus ends and modern humans begin.

Thousands and thousands of changes took place between those two time periods.

Pick a few of those you think are most important, and we'll take a look.

That's because evolution has been debunked.

It's directly observed. Would you like some examples?

Even PHD's that were not Christians have stated that evolution was no possible.

Scientists who are Christians overwhelmingly accept evolution. There are more Muslim scientists who deny evolution, but of course, creationism is more compatible with Islam than with Christianity. Here's how it breaks down in the United States:

"creationism is more compatible with Islam than with Christianity"

who made this lie?

Where are the reformers "Protestants" on the list"

Protestants generally would be 51%. Various kinds of reformed would be the last three, depending on which Protestant you asked.

"creationism is more compatible with Islam than with Christianity"

See above. Islam is much more compatible with creationism than Christianity is.

Doesn't mean you can't be a Christian and be a creationist, of course.

On the graph. Traditional Protestants, traditionally black Protestants, Evangelicals, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses.
