How's your weather today, where you live?

imabout an hour and a half due north of detroit and its going to hit 100 again. We are camping and spent our day swimming in the lake. Absolutly loving this weather!

Had to take my son to wrestling practice last night and they had a tough practice. Hit shirt was drenched mid way through practice and all the boys were dripping wet. I was just watching practice and my shirt was damp because of the heat and humidity... oh, practicce was in a polebarn retrofitted as a wrestling studio. Thank goodness the guy lived on a lake and the water felt mighty fine after practice!

StoveBolts: Well, wrestling can be very entertaining (and can use up a lot of excess energy, too) but when it's in the excess heat sometimes we need to spare a thought for the wrestlers if they are doing their thing in those conditions. I wonder, because of all the sheer amount of perspiring that happens with wrestlers, whether wrestlers' tattoos will eventually become more degraded than is usual, frankly (although your son is probably not old enough to get his).

Yes, I guess Lake Michigan especially has provided a lot of cool relief to many people... :)

Eh, we are about 20 minutes from lake heron and a few hours from lake michigan. Michigan has thousands of over sized ponds they call lakes lol! Actually, we are getting ready to take a dip in just a few minutes.

Funny what you said aout the wrestlers. When we go to tournamnts in the winter they gym gets so hot and muggy from all the kids and people. Its crazy hot. I can say though that I won't run in this heat but it amazes me they practice in it for wrestling. It really is a brutal sport.

Oh, is 93 right now with 46 percent humidity. The feels like temp is 98

It's currently 102 degrees in the land of Dorthy, Toto, Scarecrow, Tinman, and Lion.

They are predicting rain tomorrow and Monday. :) :thumbsup

HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT

To hot to even think.... we are doing nothing more than sitting in the living room with our little ice coolers and fans going and watching Centennial for the umpteenth time.

To hot even to be in the computer room.

We don't have air conditioning and normally here there is no need for it... but it's 105 out there right now. Gah.

Here in my part of the Midwest.... we received much needed rains today. In between the good soaking rains, the humidity went nuts. However, now since the 'cold' front has moved through, the temps are in the upper 80s with a breeze. Sure beats the 100+ with no breeze we'd been experiencing.

:wave

Ontario: the dark clouds blew away, and it's been clear and sunny and warm! :)

(Not too hot, though...)

Great news down there! :)

The wind picked up in the later afternoon, cooling things down somewhat... once things cooled down a little we moved the ice coolers and fans to the dining room and started a game marathon... first Clue, which Viola won both times, then Monopoly... We just broke up the Monopoly game. I was winning, and winning by quite a margin. Then I made a deal with Steve so that I could complete the Yellow monopoly and he could get Park Place and Boardwalk out of hock. I never land on either Park Place or Boardwalk, so I thought it was a good deal... I don't know... I still haven't landed on either, but for some reason I just keep landing on his properties and he keeps landing on Chance, Community Chest, his own properties or goes to jail where he sits there and collects rent. I went from having all hotels on all my properties and 1200 in cash to facing ruin.

At least its very nice now... the house is cooling down and we should get a good nights sleep. Hopefully it wont be so hot tomorrow. We'll see. Since it won't be Sunday if its too hot, we'll go to the pool. :yes
