How's your weather today, where you live?

I have made a prediction. We have turned the corner. Even though it is snowing today, I preduct in two weeks we will have a completely new landscape.

-4 Celsius.
For Fahrenheit users: -4 C is pretty friggin cold.

WHERE IS THE GLOBAL WARMING THEY PROMISED US????

Claudya: They think they have to call it global warming (although because they can't prove that temperatures are going up rather than down, they sometimes conveniently call it climate change) because if they claim to want to maintain and put up taxes for professed reasons of socialism, well, socialism has been discredited, so they have to have some other, supposed reason.

(Herr Helmut Schmidt doesn't believe in the 'climate change' excuse for higher taxes and more government regulation, by the way. But, then, he doesn't now want his party's nomination for reelection. The real gap isn't between capital and labour but, rather, generally speaking, between what politicians say and what they do.)

Kansas City: Cloudy, 37. We got the short end of the forecast 5-9" overnight, and because it didn't freeze, the pavement stayed slushy, not frozen, until well after sundown. The cars plowed the streets themselves, though the city showed up several hours later just to be sure. (Yeah, right)

Sunny here, but really unpleasantly cold.

There is no doubt the climate is changing, because the climate has always been changing. The change of the climate is well documented. The only debate is about whether a human made green house effect is the reason for the global warming, or something else that is not in our control (like solar activty or some other natural phenomenon).

Schmidt is an old man capable of creating a global green house effect merely through the number of cigarets he smokes. As far as I know he called the climate change debate "hysterically overheated" (was that an intended pun?), but doesn't deny that the climate is changing.

View attachment 3094 Western Kansas---- waiting for the snow to finish melting from the most current storm. This pic was taken standing in front of the dining room window from a snow storm we had about a month ago. I thought we were supposed to have spring now?????? At least I am ready for spring. :yes
