I Almost Forgot

We have talked about, the lrrp before to,which you were surprised I know what one was
Yeah, they reported directly to the Pentagon.
Dad told me he would did own me if I ever went into the military. My step brother went in the Army and it only caused strife, even to this day. I didn't understand it till about 10 years ago.

If you know about the LRRP, their missions we're covert and often behind enemy lines. If they were captured, the US would declare them AWOL.

Dads got blood on his hands from close combat, covert style. Its not like shooting a gun at somebody 30 yards away. Its close, and it's personal, and it's silent.

We learned if Dad was sleeping on the couch, you don't touch him or you'd find yourself knocked out under him until he was awake enough to realize he wasn't back in the army.

Now I know why he never wanted any of us to go into the military... Because he loved us too much to have blood on our hands and honestly, although he was a tough cookie on the outside, i dont think he could stand the worry. Like I said, there is much strife between my step brother and my Dad because of this.

I hope one day to read a book of his adventures. I have downloaded one from herman's account of his time in war.

Thanks to all the great veterans our shores were never invaded.

Looking that up. It is a Soviet ww2 aircraft .

Nothing. The original post has a big flag and I was just asking how many stars are on it.

One for each state of the United States of America. If New Zealand joins and becomes a state, there will be 51 stars on the flag.

Year's ago he finally told me some stories. He was stationed in Germany. Some of the stories from this link are familiar...notice the berea in my dads jump picture, now you know where it came from lol. My Dad wore that to the VFW often and a leather one when he rode his Guzzi.

This picture is a few years old. Notice his hat and compare with the link. I'll see if I can post a decent picture of his coin.

I just looked up the 50 states and there was 8 I had never even heard of before.

Maine and Vermont is example. Do people even live there?.

Yup, my Dad loved his Moto Guzzi motorcycle and was an awesome driver! I know it was always fun riding on the back.

Imagine this. It's a fully loaded motorcycle with the front faring and rear saddle bags. Dad leaves the stop sign and turns left and proceeds to pull a wheelie that he rides a quarter mile through an S turn as he gently puts the front wheel back down as he stops at the next stop sign.

Good times!

The media is a joke here. Notice how the size of this Kingfish is not noted or any details it's probably only like 30kg. The way he's holding the fish in the bear hug with his hands positioned is how you make a fish look way bigger and heavier than what it is. Fact. I know the tricks and you will see it on successful fishing charter photos as well to get customers because they know it.

Acturally next time I go and catch a kingfish I will take two photos and show you.
