A person should know when they have done wrong to another human being. If they do not they should take a look at that.If a person thinks they are always in the right then they have a problem.Just saying sorry to someone if you think you have offended them can sometimes go a long way.And it helps get rid of the pride thing.First, one must determine that he/she is actually sorry and what they are sorry for. There are always more than one side to a disagreement and until one decides to concede his/her position, it becomes very difficult to feel sorry. Of course, one can just be sorry about the way the argument progressed and not necessarily about the position he/she has been holding.
Not necessarily. One of the Mods started a thread here a couple of weeks ago that thoroughly offended me with accusations about my denomination. Although one of the regular members apologized for going along with the video, the Mod laid low, and kept clear of the mess he started. I just sat and waited for an apology that never came.A person should know when they have done wrong to another human being. If they do not they should take a look at that.If a person thinks they are always in the right then they have a problem.Just saying sorry to someone if you think you have offended them can sometimes go a long way.And it helps get rid of the pride thing.
If I could count all of the times I have waited for an "I am sorry" apology in my life it would take me all day.But the Lord says that we must forgive. It sure makes it easier if someone has said "I am sorry".Not necessarily. Sometimes people will take advantage of their "position" not to have to say they were wrong.
You're right. And I have a long way to go in that department. But for now, they usually go on my list of people to simply steer clear of.If I could count all of the times I have waited for an "I am sorry" apology in my life it would take me all day.But the Lord says that we must forgive. It sure makes it easier if someone has said "I am sorry".
First I pray to God to give me the strength to forgive.I think it is really cleansing to say "I am sorry" it takes the bitterness out of your soul. You're right. And I have a long way to go in that department. But for now, they usually go on my list of people to simply steer clear of.
Maybe I'll get better.
YOU are a jew. praying for the wailing wall to become a temple once again. the yud with the hey. if remember that right. which has something to do with the templeMany are dogmatic because if they aquiese they see it as weakness. Pack mentality. If you loose eye contact your submissive and attackable. Then some seem to make that position a lifestyle. They are the ones with a victim mentality. Everyone is always attacking them, and they think they 'must be doing the right thing' because everyone is attacking them. I find this to be the two extremes usually employed. Then you have the calm and assertive ones who stand in the midst of them.....
I have a daughter that is blunt. She's not mean about it or tacky, she just says what she thinks without florals. It can be quite disconcerting.I don't think we always know. Yes, it's easy to identify doing wrong to another when it's physical. Not so easy when it's emotional though. I personally have found that people take me the wrong way a lot. On more than one occasion while I was in college my roommate would mention how he thought I was getting angry with him at an earlier time. I was usually taken by surprise with his comments because I could not recall even the slightest amount of anger. My wife will often accuse me of "getting mad" at her when I have no idea what she's talking about. We've been together for over 25 years so you'd think by now she'd know me better. I remember a guy explained it to me this way. He said I was brassy when I talked to people and often times this puts them in a defensive position. That defensive position would indicate they are hurt and getting defensive but to my knowledge I haven't done anything to warrant that response.
Yes, I'm a Jewish believer. My avatar means 'life'. As in living waters. I pray to God in Yeshua's name, who is building a living temple out of all believers, and is restoring the remnant of the house of Yisrael. The prophets speak of the return of the remnant of Yisrael. And in those texts, the return of the King and the connection to the new covenant are inextricably linked.YOU are a jew. praying for the wailing wall to become a temple once again. the yud with the hey. if remember that right. which has something to do with the temple

You are forgiven. If you mean me about that thread, I'm sorry.
It was a total misunderstanding.
you delineated yourself as being not a Christian.Yes, I'm a Jewish believer. My avatar means 'life'. As in living waters. Now, why are you being offensive to me in a thread that is about forgiveness (being sorry)? It seems to me you don't like 'Jews'.
You're not a Mod, and you didn't post the video. If you mean me about that thread, I'm sorry.

It is easy to misunderstand people, especially on the internet. One can say sorry with out using the words I am sorry... it is very sad when apologies are offered and not accepted.... explanations given just to have them tossed aside...
