So, when there was a thunderstorm, just east of my town, I thought "here's chance to try getting some lightning."

I've got some learning to do, but it looks like it might be fun.

Mat 24:27 KJV For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.


Earth circumference ~ 4 x 10^7 m. Lightning travels ~ 4.5 x 10^ 5 m/s therefor it will take ~ 90 seconds for lightning to travel around the Earth. I think Jesus is faster than that. Angon maybe the light from the lightning travels at ~ 3 x 10^8 m/s so this will take ~ 0.135 seconds to circle the Globe that sounds more like it.
