Today I had to make the decision to put down my baby. Her name was Maggy and I love her very much. If there is someth8ng out there, I hope she found her way home.

I know that feeling .I still think of my dogs . They visit in their ways,a video of dog doing what yours did ,or seeing that on person .the husky soft touch that they have to their fur and the talking they do reminds me of mine .

I'm sorry to hear that! I lost my Daisy about 2 months ago and it was hard. She was my best buddy for 18 years, a member of the family.

I'm just trying to be there for my Mom as well. Maggy lived with her and i took care of her everyday when I would stop by daily. My Mom will have to be in the house.

Yes, these are some of the hardest moments in life. Every time you think of her give God gratitude and thanksgiving for the special blessing she has been in your life. As hard as it is, it's strangely comforting to know you had something in your life that you loved and was so dear to you. Turn it upward to God in thanks to Him who gives all the good things we have in life.

Many of us have been where you're at right now. My son just lost his dog the day before you lost Maggy. He took it so hard he couldn't go to work the next day. I'll miss feeding her table scraps this Thanksgiving.

So sorry. I remember when my parents Lost their pair of small house dogs. They never bonded and fought up to the end. And yet…

My parents and I loved them both. Harder on them of course. Thing is…

Having a dog is sort of a mutual rescue. One gets a companion and the companion gets a quality of life that doesn’t happen without a caring human.

They have a new pair. A purebred chihuahua and her mutt half brother. They’re bonded and an absolute blessing to my parents and to me too.

Yeah, I'm close with my Mom. She has her other dog Maya, the chocolate lab/sausage beast.

I make sure she is well and I help her as m7ch as I can.
