I love my dog, but I'm not gonna say that eating dog is wrong. *shrug* Eating someone's pet would be wrong.
Many people think of rabbits as pets, but they're also thought of as food. Even if one may not eat one themselves, a carnivore like my pet dog would. I've fed my dog mice, goat, pork, beef, chicken, turkey, gator...and if I had the chance and money I'd feed him horse, rabbit, lamb, deer, 'roo...well, I'd draw the line at cats simply because I'm conditioned by this culture to think of cats as pets and my dog eating one would be highly disturbing to me.
Yeah, I used to feed my dog a raw diet consisting of meat, bones, and organs...he is a carnivore, it only makes sense. (Don't worry, I did my research and made sure I was doing it right.) I've had to go back to kibble due to finances and availability (and friggen loss of freezer space!), but I still feed him partial raw.
