I Love Animals

Pete was found wandering along a highway in South Carolina. The people who found him thought he was hit by a car. When they took him to a veterinarian, it was discovered he had been buckshot in the face. They tried medications, but his eyes were too damaged, and needed to be removed.

I have a cat who only has one eye. The other one had to be removed as it was ruptured; vet thought my cat had been hit by a car. He was a stray who adopted me in time for me to get him to the vet to save his life. He's an amazing cat, and does just fine with only one eye.

I hope the people who found Pete kept him!

in my job, I have seen one blind dog, one three legged dog, he is my favorite as he Is a husky. I have a husky that is a basically three legged she still isn't using that leg that she had surgery on. we call her the hop along girl. the three legged husky is huge and scared me when I went into the yard with him. he can run and I didn't want to be bitten, so I came back to get that read , he went to the door and was like. mommy is he here to pet me. he had a bandana for a neck bow, my wife does that with Cheyenne, he had blue eyes like my dog. sorry I love huskies then german shephards.

One of my neighbors (in a different city) had a 3-legged Dobe, who was shot in the leg during an attempted business robbery after hours. He was such a sweet dog, was protective of his veterinarian 'mom' who adopted him after performing surgery to remove the shattered leg. She also had a blind cat, along with a couple other pets she adopted during her time in vet school.

That is nice.My brother was a vet but he was not that nice.

My neighbor was always trying to find homes for animals that had been given up because the families couldn't afford - or didn't want - the pets who needed care. She was a gem!
