if a soul is a fusion between body and spirit... and that fusion dies.... whats left ?

You said your conscience was a different personality. My conscience talking to me isn't another personality talking to me, it's me

I think it is Brother. If my spirit can talk to God and me in my flesh body and carnal mind don't get to hear it, then my spirit is something extra special, right?!

Don't you hear multiple voices inside of you? I'm pretty sure that I have identified 4 different voices.
(Right now I'm thinking how foolish this sounds!) Scripture said the mysteries of the Kingdom of God is foolishness to the world. That was our first hint that it is on the Twilight Zone Path.

Nevertheless it is true, it's just weird enough to be true. But I digress. One voice is my carnal mind and is the voice most of us are used to hearing so much that it's usually associated with "me". The 2nd voice is the enemy which can literally project thoughts into peoples heads. People say we have two angels on our shoulders with one good and one bad. That's the bad one I guess.

The 3rd voice is the voice of our conscience, and maybe our conscience is the voice of our spirit? Since our spirit talks to the Holy Spirit, he would always know what is the right thing to do. That's what makes me think we call it our conscience. But I am unsure about that. I have also wondered if the Lord can jump in on the conscience voice or just take over and speak loudly to us! (that's another story).

and God is the 4th voice. Or maybe 4th & 5th? He has a still small voice, and He has a louder non-audible voice which is unmistakeable and He has an audible voice. I have heard all three. And the longer you pay attention to who is speaking in your head, you begin to notice differences and so they become easier to identify. Trust me, the enemy don't have the same dialect as God does or me or my conscience! You can tell. This stuff is real.
God is real.

Somehow inside of us our spirit and our soul are connected together in the flesh body maybe through the heart? Our spirit (I think) has to reach through our soul in order to overcome our flesh and be the dominant in control portion of our being. But it has to filter through the carnal mind and he always talks crap.

This is sorta my take on us. According to scripture, we (mankind) are indeed very very special and very valuable. So very valuable that He allowed His Son to dies on the cross for us! That's huge. And, we are created in God's image. What is God? God is a Trinity, Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Do they have different personas? Personalities? And be one at the same time?

Twilight Zone says yes. We just know very little about the makeup and function of our spiritual beings.

Riddle!:
How many Personaliites can a lightbulb have?

Answer: Technically, as I understand it, we are beings of light. our blood is probably congealed light, and scripture repeatedly say, let your light shine to the world. So I guess a light bulb can have a whole lotta personaliites, Lol.

What you choose to believe is your choice but I don't think my conscience is another different personality. I think my conscience is me talking to me. I can train my conscience by following God's example of love and exercising faith in him or I can train my conscience to ignore the example of the love God has shown us. For example if someone sleeps with a wife or husband of someone else, he\she's conscience will tell him\her it's wrong but chooses to sleep with the wife or husband regardless of what his\her conscience says to him\her. But if such a person continues to do such things ignoring their conscience warning, that they're doing something wrong, then their conscience will no longer warn them they're doing something wrong. They will have trained their conscience that doing such things isn't wrong.

You become a living soul which continues and the soul and spirit are 2 different things.

First of all, what is the soul? Some equate it with the spirit, but that's not correct. Some think that God gives you a soul which is also not correct. See below repost of mine.

The bible says you become a living soul; you are not given one as some people erroneously believe. God does not hand-out souls. The bible also states that the soul is not the spirit, also as some erroneously believe, and that they can be divided. The bible says that souls came out of the loins of Jacob. The bible also says that God has a soul.

Here's what the bible says regarding the soul. (Pertinent scriptures)

Gen2:7 KJV

"7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

The interlinear Hebrew says "being" (lenepes) not soul

Exodus 1:5 KJV

"And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already."

Souls are in your loins according to this scripture. Here, the interlinear does say "soul" in Hebrew and not "being". Two different Hebrew words; napes or nepes for souls vs. lenepes

And finally, Hebrews 4:12 KJV

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

The interlinear Greek is "phyches" for soul and "pneumatos" for spirit

I think what it amounts to is...and man became a living soul...(but the soul was yet blank because man had no imprinted it yet) IOW, I think our soul is our tree, that we make through our free will everyday.

The power of life and death are in the tongue. So what we speak today, becomes our tomorrow. You might as well call it our personality. (What person we make).

Did we make a good guy or a bad guy. Depends on who you talk to, lol!. Does this personaility know God?
Does this personality have more good deeds or more bad deeds? Our life is a tree and we were commanded to be fruitful and multiply both in the material world and in the spiritual realm.

You know, I've been thinking about this and I think that maybe there only is only one personality. Our conscience may indeed be able to speak, and our spirit can certainly speak for he talks with the Holy Spirit. But wouldn't saying these are multiple personalities be inaccurate?

Because we are one with Christ. One means one. So we have to be one with ourselves also, it just reeks of good sense. So what we are probably looking at, is...We are, at present, human beings which are a living soul and created in the very image of God. But! (Big But, here)...as humans we are not yet perfected and are here on earth for a season and while we are yet on earth living as humans with a single personality, we have more to ourselves than we realize because we have been denied access to our own higher functions. Like I said, we are unperfected still.

So I think that even now we are one personality and that after we get perfected we will still only have one personality. We'll just have access to all higher functions as spiritual beings. And as being one with God (In Christ)

They wiped our memory right before they put us into our flesh body, haha, good one Lord! What a challenge.

Our personailty sits in with our mind-will-emotions in the soul, right? Makes sense. God Loves us, as us right where we are. (and He promised to show us a better way!) and Jesus's sacrifice on the cross payed the price for the redemtion of our souls, so that would make sense.

So what have been called multiple personalities may only be higher functions of ourselves that our conscious self has no acces to hearing any of it because it is higher than our perceptions as humans.
