If being gay is a sin, why did God make people like that?

God justifies who he wills, through the blood of Jesus. This is elemental.

The Father sanctifies who he wills, through the blood of Jesus. This is maturity.

He is working all things after the counsel of His own will. Ephesians 1:11.

“Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.â€Â

and here it is. if ANYONE tries to doubt what God specifically said, they are lieing to themselves. he says right here that homosexuality is na SIN!!!! i cant believe , i mean, i am so shocked, that the media is trying so hard to make it seem like a normal lifestyle. its truly an evil that must be combated, marriage truly is under attack.

speaking of which, does anyone else HATE when ppl compare these "gay rights" to the black movement 40 years ago? i cannot stand that, its not at all the same thing. being black, white, hispanic, chinese, etc, thats a whole race of people! homosexuality, beyond other things, is a lifestyle choice. its not civil rights! they are a minority group, not a race! its not the same thing! someone should tell these ppl, ppl who compare this to a racial movement are crazy IMO.

this is my first post on here, not sure if this is where it goes so if it must be moved to another forum let it be. anyway, i am straight young man of 22 and a strong Christian but this subject has always bothered me. i am very against gay marriage, lifestyle, etc and all that, and everytime i talk about my views on this subject, i get critizised, called a "bigot" or whatever because i dont agree with that lifestyle. its rediculous. they are a minority group acting like a whole race of people. i feel strongly about it because, i am myself am a romantic and i love women and love being romantic with them. when i hear about the perversion that has taken over our culture, it makes me just plain sick. its the grossest thing i can imagine a human being doing. but i am curious however, if God said so specifically in the Bible that homosexuals will not enter the Kingdom of God, then how come they exist? ive heard many reasons, the most prominent one being that ever since the fall of man and the existence of sin, mankind has simply gotten sick and created in itself many different sins, including homosexuality. is this true though? is someone being gay a product of mankinds sin? i'd really like to know.

well I see it like this, someone insults you for being Christian-calls you all sorts of names, and even tries to attack you or kill you-I would think differently then.
I am a believer in gay rights-and this belief-time and time again has kept me out of the church, praying or anything else Christian-I believe in God-I keep distance from the church and any organized religion because I don't want to listen to humans about things they cannot know.
If the worst thing I can do in life is believe gays deserve equal rights-then I am pretty sure I am not doing that bad in life
I am not gay, but I know gays and they are good people-and I won't turn my back on them, I don't believe its a choice-but thats my opinion

sorry but i just cant agree with you. God literally blew up all the sinners in sodom, who were mostly gays and perversions of that nature. so just think, what if Jesus came back today.....those gays wouldnt have a prayer. they need to repent of there sinful ways, because even though it might not feel wrong to them, its wrong to God who is, you know, the CREATOR OF ALL, including you and me. you should really let them know.

.

Ya know, I love the person and pray for them and let them know I pray for them to come out of the bondage of sodomy and/or same sex relationship.

For a anyone to perform sodomy on anyone is a sin.
And women should never allow a man to do that to them either!

Here is what the abuse of sodomy does to the colon.
And to think.... some people think there is nothing wrong with sodomy? :o

Tell those who insist on performing sodomy on anyone to keep this picture in their wallet next to the one they are abusing, their lover!
[attachment=0:22axhljp]procteocolitis.gif[/attachment:22axhljp]
Amebic procteocolitis [infected intestines];
note the whitish-green ulcers that are not unusual in the large bowel of homosexual men. (picture from the Atlas of sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS. S. A. Morse, others, Eds. (Mosby, New York, 2003) ) .

That is just one form of colitis which is what happens to those who allow the abuse of sodomy to happen to them! That picture shows a severe INFECTION which is what leads to the problem of having to have the damaged part of the colon cut out then, depending on the outcome, the person must wear a sack outside of their bodies for the rest of their lives because of all the damage done.

Is that what they want, to have to wear a bag outside
of their body for the rest of their life or
to have to wear an adult diaper for the rest of their life?
The gamble of doing it is NOT worth it!
Please don't do it to anyone again.
:sad

Lord God I pray, Have mercy. Show them to go and sin that sin no more! :pray

Degenerate physical habits are the consequence of idleness and fullness of bread.

Ezek 16:49-50
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom: pride, fulness of bread, and prosperous ease was in her and in her daughters; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw (good). ASV

Pride and prosperity were instruments in the hand of evil to work in them corrupt thoughts and feelings, just like Eve at the tree.

We have all sinned this sin and come short of the glory of God. We have all been bound in unbelief that God might have mercy upon us all. Let us confess our sin before the Lord. He is merciful and gracious forgiving iniquity, but will by no means clear the guilty. Exodus 33:19,20; 34:5-7. He who honors his father and mother does not have guilt.

There are homosexuals who are struggling with their unwanted homosexual thoughts, feelings and desires. Many of them are probably Christians who are silently crying out for deliverance.

I am not denying that only the Holy Spirit can sanctify us. But homosexuals need all the help that they can get. I am a supporter of psychotherapy.

yes, great post! im glad this thread has gotten the response it has, i hope it changes peoples minds about homosexulaity and makes them see it as it truly is: an ugly sinful lifestyle that is condemned by God. and ive learned from this thread that God himself did NOT create this perversion in man, but ever since the Fall of Man in the garden of eden, mankind has seriously screwed itself up in the sickest and most twisted ways, with homosexuality being one of the biggest perversions. i sincerly hope this thread is viewed by those struggling homosexuals who are looking for God, and hope they are healed within themselves. theres just no way that any sane person can actually view homosexuality as "normal". for those that do, i dont know even know what to say......its really just a perversion of both the body and mind, and to think of that as "normal".... :confused

and you know what i REALLY despise? whenever a Christian like me says they dont agree with that lifestyle, these sick folk have the nerve to call you "ignorant". :crazy yeah uh huh, right. i think that even God is laughing at that one. yeah, its ignorance for them not to recognize that its a sinful nature, unnatural and wicked, and they are ignorant as to think its a normal lifetstyle. this really IS a moral battle.

and one more question that noone has answered: is there anything that i can do as a regular person to help combat same sex marriage? this is an issue that really bugs me, is there anything i can do to stop it? like, are there any good organizations you can join for this sorta thing? ive been looking around, its very hard to find a site or anything you know?

Reido, it sounds to me like you are the one who is trying to stir us Christians up to anger by trying to defend the gays. We as Christians will always agree with the Bible and you know as well as any of us here that God conceders homosexuality a sin. So if we are bothering you by agreeing with God’s word, by condemning the sin of homosexuality, I can’t help that. It seams like you don’t fit in too well here on a Christian discussion board. Why did you join anyway.

Lee100 AND Relic (for that long-ack post you posted in concerns to Reido's sexual choices):

responding in such high, holy-roller themes only detracts from your argument. Lee 100, I think Reido fits in just fine, and Relic, I actually think that Reido is seriously alot more sincerely curious than you think he is. I used to think like you Relic. I used to think that Romans 1 applied to EVERYTHING.

Well, just because someone can have no excuse that there is a Supreme Being of some sort or another, it doesn't automatically mean that they should have the exact same perceptions or form of discernments that Christians do. Non-Christians/Agnostics/atheists/whatevers lack the aid of the Holy Spirit, so all they have right now are questions. Questions that God probably put there. So for any of us to approach someone either saying, or even just thinking that they should already "know better" just isn't fair.

It took me a WHILE to realize this. I thought it was pure, simple, deductive logic to think that, if someone knows there's a God out there, He must have "rules and regulations," and every human being has them ingrained in there somewhere, regardless of upbringing. But without the Holy Spirit, the difference in perception, TRUE perception, is excruciatingly vast. That's why we need to approach anyone in love. Because if we love, then they'll want the Source of that love, and that's when we invite them in. You can't invite someone into the Holy of Holies when you don't speak in love. Not to mention, I really don't think people's souls are going to get saved over a forum.

Just a thought for anyone else here.

GrayJedi_Lightshade ,

I spoke out of love and concern, nothing less. When Holy spirit convicted me of a specific sin I was into back around 30 years ago, it was when I was reading the bible... the conviction freaked me out so much that I threw the bible across the room. I got the message to stop that sin and turn to the Holy Spirit to help me overcome that particular sin. The Holy spirit is not always easy on us.... When Holy spirit convicted Saul (Paul) on the side of the road he was knocked down struck blind for a time. You call that gentle? The convicting word is not always easy on the sinner. Repentance only comes from out of admitting to the truth. I pray whomever is upset with coming to a Christian web site with their questions that they should know that they will get a blunt truth... beating around the bush is only playing games with them. Read the bible and you will see that Holy Spirit conviction is not always just a light touch patting someone on the back whispering sweet gentleness in their ear. Search the Scriptures you will see not all the stories that are a testimony for us are so easy on those people who were stubborn stuck on not listening to the Holy Spirit of the Lord. Even Jonah had a time of it, didn't he, and his disobedience to go tell the people of Nineveh to repent found him in more than one quandary... When the Lord deals with the stubborn they will have troubles if they are resistant. And those the Lord uses to help bring people to come to realization of their sins will not always have a people who are so easily lead to repentance. I'm not saying I don't make mistakes every so often, and I'm not saying that I'm accusing anyone here... But if the Scriptures people present for edification are rejected then that's not my fault. If you think the Lord is going to use you any better than anyone else here that has contributed to this thread, then go right ahead and share your witness and testimony. I'm not going to judge how the Lord uses me for his purpose, be it of a stern hand or a gentle one is not up to me... I speak from my heart in accordance to the situation. So then just mind your own and tell the person what the Lord puts in your heart to help the person who is asking questions here rather than poke fingers at the other members here who have posted scriptures to help out. How it's taken is not for you to say if it was too hard on the poor fella or not. IF the person who posted the OP doesn't like what I presented or how I presented it they can tell me themselves and I'll work it out with them. The Lord knows what he is doing through each and every one of us in order to get His message through to whomever and whenever.

God Bless.

Is it really productive to revive a dead thread just to complain? Don't we have enough homosexual debates and threads as it is? :naughty
