If you were stuck on a desert island

Reminiscing all those old shows as I liked Dobie, Gilligan's Island, Ozzie and Harriot, Leave it to Beaver, Real McCoy's etc. etc.....................oops, showing my age again :lol

My Three Sons was a favorite one. I use to love Red Skelton, Lassie, Mr. Ed, Ma & Pa Kettle movies, Danny Thomas, George Burns &Gracie Allen, Jack Benny, and the list goes on.

No fresh water but plenty of coconuts. Be careful though ask Chuck about their natural effect. :biggrin
Ummm...I do know of someone who has been stricken with the side effects of coconut milk.I would never say who it was but they are very careful now and drink it sparingly. :biggrin2

I used to have cable with 70 different channels. But in spite of all those channels, it often happened that I could find nothing good to watch. I calculated that for the same price as I was paying for cable, I could order the programs I wanted on DVD from Amazon, and make my own programming. And the programs I bought (so far)?... Leave it to Beaver, I Dream of Jeannie, Cheers, The Addams Family, The Andy Griffith Show, The Brady Bunch , Gilligan's Island, The Dick van Dyke Show, Gomer Pyle USMC, among others.. Most of them are from the 60's and 70's.

I din't know it, but got here anyway :) ..... What did emissary John do on the isle of patmos ? (possibly the closest example in the Bible of this situation) (don't know that either - haven't given it more thought yet; but , oh, yeah -- "rest" in the Lord doesn't mean inactivity, very often it means working the fingers to the bone, working to the point of exhaustion, FOR THE GOSPEL, without payment, wearing threadbare clothes, some days/nights with no where to lay your head; six days a week. always rest on the seventh, as Yhwh instructs. (though it is not as man looks at it, remember Yeshua said "My Father works, so I work" and "it is right to do good on the Sabbath(heal people and stuff like that) )

Revelation 1:9
I, John, your brother and companion (sharer and participator) with you in the tribulation and kingdom and patient endurance [which are] in Jesus Christ, was on the isle called Patmos, [banished] on account of [my witnessing to] the Word of God and the testimony (the proof, the evidence) for Jesus Christ.

Revelation 1:8-10 (in Context) Revelation 1 (Whole Chapter)

Yeah, he was banished there for speaking the truth! Got loaded up with prophecy while he was there too. I don't know if wrote Revelation while he was there or after he left again? I'm not even sure if they let him loose again or if he died/was taken by God...Anyone know?

Father, Son and Holy Spirit as then I would receive wisdom how to get back home.

Yep. Best answer yet! :)

My Three Sons? I remember that show. I have two brothers and am the youngest and they used to call me Ernie for it, which I hated, lol. :)

I'd want vitamin c that never goes bad or a fruit tree that would keep producing so I wouldn't get scurvy. I'd also want a fishing net to catch fish. Then I would want a wife.

Fishing pole? Ya just sharpen up one of those branches from the tree and harpoon them. That is where a swiss army knife would come ih handy.
Harpooning fish, I would starve before I would figure out how to do that. My outdoor skills are at a minimum.
