In the book of Genesis Joseph interprets two dreams of the Pharaoh that represented seven years of plenty and seven years of famine. Did Joseph actually look for the shrived corn or the fated calves?

If you really wanted to understand wormwood and the water becoming bitter, then you should look to what many claim to be their living waters, for they are not, their fountain has become poised spiritually. As the Lord declared, if you want to believe a lie, the He would send you strong delusion so that you would believe that lie. It is also written in the scripture: eat up the book, for it shall be sweet as honey to the taste, but in the belly it shall be bitter. Jesus warned his disciples that because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. The prophets declare that the famine in the end time is not a famine of food, but a famine for hearing the word of God. The foolish virgins run to and fro while their knowledge of the law and their knowledge of iniquity increases, but the Lord shall remain hidden from them.

I pointed you to your conversation in that other thread so that you might then consider that the real effect of wormwood is self pride and self importance with a bitter heart while demonstrating none of the love or grace of Christ. This was a brother who would daily read both old and new testament scriptures as well as devotionals, commentaries and now these youtube video's. There is a scripture about ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of God.

When you mentioned the poisoning of the waters and a famine, consider that Jesus said he who comes to me shall never hunger nor thirst. Why then do those who seem most bitter or judgemental of others still hungry and thirst for the words of the book and the words of men? The words of the book were given to us as our example, lessons to learn from. Well when the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness and they were given manna to eat. When they were to gather double for the sabbath, do you recall what happened to the manna when they gathered more than their portion?

I will not comment about that other post and put down my brother as that comment between him and I was resolved. If you do not want to go deeper as to what will happen here on earth by what God is going to bring down upon it during the first six trumpets sounding that is your loss.

I see nothing symbolic in the literal description that is written within each trumpet sounding. The seventh trumpet will lead up to the beast out of the land being the son of perdition (last antichrist) in whom the beast out of the sea gives him power will take his seat on the throne promising peace, safety and provision for all who will bow down to him and take his mark. Meanwhile those who are of faith that is Christ will He make provision for them during this time just as He provided for the Israelites who wondered in the desert all those years. Revelations is an unveiling not only to John, but for John to give to the seven Churches which all who are of faith in Christ are apart of that body of Christ.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Jesus told this to Peter and is the same for all of us that we not fall to temptation no matter how enticing it is. If I am still alive at the time of Gods great wrath being poured out in the end of days in hope that many will turn back to Him I want to prepare myself now for that which has to come first before Christ returns as no one knows when that will be.

The OP is imagery of a worse case scenario as this thought came to my mind way before I started studying Revelations. In some parts of the world it is a reality as many in the past and even today are dying a martyr's death for the sake of Christ and this includes the whole family being persecuted.

If we have learned anything from the past we can see how the past repeats itself. Part of my calling from God is to prepare others for what yet needs fulfilled before Christ returns as it is written. I know many will and have mocked me and scoff, but that doesn't bother me as I have to be about my Father's business.

I don't take any stock in all those bandwagon preachers who love to line their pockets with all the books, movies and CD's they produce. Their theories started around the 1830's with a confessed missed interpretation, but they chose to run with it. What I study and give to others comes straight from the OT and NT with history thrown into the mix. Everyone certainly has the right to either accept it and study it for themselves or reject it because I'm not some well known Pastor with a seminary diploma, but a simple country gal that puts hours upon hours study the word of God in the privacy of my own home.

When I study scripture I have an idealize type of mind that plays like a reality movie that puts me within that of what I am reading and studying. It's like I am actually there. It's pretty cool. I think this is a way the Holy Spirit helps me learn.

It sure is the Holy Spirit. It's the voice of God upon you, lol. A lot of people don't get those images. You must be very sensitive to the voice of God. I would cultivate that!

No wonder God likes giving visions! A picture is worth 1000 words and mankind is generally slow witted so imagery saves Him a lot of time with us! Lol. (Plus when you're getting the vision(s), you're there emotionally too, which...(I think), improves perception and awareness, making us more sensitive to the Spirit of God and learning us better. ?

Persecution for the sake of Christ is not a game, but a reality that is happening in many parts of the world where many are laying down their lives as they refuse to renounce Christ as their Lord and Savior. Now is the time to repent and turn back to God before the door of Salvation is closed forever as no one knows when Christ will return.

Imigery is a precursor to realization, I believe that many people had images possibly "sent" to them of future events that came to pass.

I think that the dark dude that some personify as satan "sends" images to me through my ADHD /BIPOLAR disorder in the hopes of them influencing me.

But they don't because God protects me I guess... He said that He would anyway so it must be Him doing that.

The Spirit of Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus Christ. What is the testimony of Christ?

It is Not the testimony of some beast, Nor is it the testimony of some antichrist.

Jesus said where your heart is, there shall be your treasure also. If your heart seeks the knowledge of some antichrist, then to your father does your heart seek. If your heart seeks after the wrath of God, then has it yet found salvation?

The children of Israel and Moses beheld the Lord descend upon the mountain as it appeared in fire and smoke: the children of Israel pulled back and feared the wrath of the God, Moses beheld the Glory of the Lord. Imagery can certainly become our reality.

Imagery helps us understand the ultimate reality, but that flesh image is changed to have a new body at the final reality of eternal life.

Images are glimpses of future things to come that yet must be fulfilled, but yet our reality for time being is only an image in our mind until the reality of the seven trumpets begin as we witness Gods wrath being poured out into the world. Yet, as a true child of God these realities will not inflict us as God will continue to supply our needs as we trust in Him as we always have. The flesh is weak, but the Spirit is stronger in those who endure until the end.

What I am presenting within my OP is the reality of the seven trumpets during God's mighty wrath that will shake those who have yet to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. During this time many will finally hear the Gospel being preached and turn back to God while others will continue to reject and curse Him. We are also told by Jesus to watch and pray as no one knows when he will return, but we will see the sign of his coming. Some like myself study these things while others have no concern. I say it is a loss to understanding those things which must come first as then all things of prophecy will be fulfilled and we who are still alive at Christ coming we recognize the sign of his coming.
