In need of work l MN

I have limited work skills Retail 20 yrs, Fresh Food 10 yrs and Inventory 5 yrs plus a lot of Paper Routes. Like I said in another thread I need a miracle I have put in for several jobs in retail no return calls. One job I liked with Kelly Service was a temp to hire job for a Target Warehouse but it a 1 hr drive and as soon as things get back to normal it will be a 2 hr drive.

About the fastest route to a skilled position in very high demand is truck driving. Is there a school/training facility near you? You could find work in almost any state. The same with anything to do in the medical field, but takes longer to train/go to school.

Will stand in agreement with you that God will open that door of opportunity and for you to see it opened unto you. Retail is fairly an opened field as I worked it for 33 years, but now a days not always a full time job. God will provide, Philippians 4:19.

Hello from Minnesota, unfortunately after being in and out of work to often in the last 10 months I was declined unemployment benefits even though my last job laid me off due to the virus. So hoping to renew my faith and strength here as it is real weak!
Hi EJ,,,,
We all welcome you to the forum.
It's nice that you dropped by and will be good to hear from you.

My daughter used to work as a Supervisor for Kelly Services.
Many times persons are sent out on jobs and end up staying there.
It's an excellent way to find work.
When you get sent to a new job...always go with the attitude that it's
a real job and not just temporary.

God be with you.

When I was young I took any job I could get to prevent me from being homeless.
I was a taxi driver, dishwasher, cleaned bathrooms.
Be tough!
Do whatever it takes, but don't quit.
If you know Jesus, he's right there with you helping you get the job done.
And that's the truth!!!

The best job I ever had came to me after I was fired. I wrote the guy that fired me a thank you note. I have no doubt that God will not only take care of you but he will take you to a better place. It's nice to have you on the Forum.

EJ, I too was laid off due to COVID. God opened a new door to a job but it pays less than half what I was making. So while that is tough, I am trying to trust and be thankful for the new job. I'll be praying for you and I will say to keep the faith, He is able to open a new door for you. God bless you brother.

Hi EJ,

Yes the times are tuff, ...I've been in that same place many times, ...what I do is put the responsibility on my Heavenly Father, ...I pray back to Him what He has said to Me.

Father, you said, "If I don't work, ...I don't eat," (mooch off of others) 2 Thes 2:10, 12

It's worked every time without fail, ...Father loves it when we put our faith and trust in Him and He always will come through for us.

Lord bless
