In Today's News

Hey everybody, I just wanted to let you all know that there won't be any news today. So have a wonderful weekend and God bless. :biggrin
Oh well same to you! .. and I just found such good news that I have to share it with everyone!

COLUMBIA, Tennessee, December 5, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — A McDonald’s restaurant in Tennessee offers pleasantly surprised customers and passersby a larger-than-life nativity scene painted across a large bank of floor-to-ceiling windows.

In addition to depictions of the Baby Jesus, Mary, and Joseph on the mural, large lettering declares, “His Name is Jesus” and “Believe.”

Exactly. Drug users are no harm to the public they are only destroying themselves. Prison is not a good place for them to be.
I'm sure heroine addicts won't steal to get a fix or trespass ,

Look,I have a good friend into na,aa and openly says less then 10 percent recover meaning they. Don't die from it .

That's optimistic ,he says it can't be tracked to be sure .I'm,skeptical that any user who is an addict won't steal to get won't be back in jail.theft from larceny ,and armed robbery

I'm,sure you would feel safe if I commuter larceny and took your savings ,bad check writing fits that .I'm not implying life ,but time will be served .

Exacerbated by lofty prices. The loftier the price, the more they are motivated to create a crime wave. Then the lofty prices motivate dealers to actively seek to get others addicted. Do something that works already. Not more of the same that has failed for decades and decades to solve the situation, and creates a crime wave as a side effect. Keep us safe. Prohibition led to Al Capone mowing down people in the streets, and people drank covertly anyway.

That's terrible. I hope they come up with some strategy to combat addiction that actually works. Instead of just making a useless statement that accomplishes nothing.

I'm,sure legal cheap heroine is gonna make ot less addictive and it's users magically be able work while high on it .im sure drinking while boating ,driving and flying are just wrong .

Cuz heroine and meth if cheap the users would be highly fuctional.

Portgugal didn't make drugs legal ,I can't go to a store and buy meth .

While im at this ,I'm,sure if we simply, legalized drugs those cartels wouldn't die ,the sell slaves, also deal in other crimes .and simply sell to minors .

Like laws against underage drinking and smoking stop teens.my,brother smoked before 18,and drank .kinda the same argument against banning it for adults will work for minors.

Making it pricy has nothing to do with it.its the desire for the substance .I'm sure human traffic is pricey ,risky and yet should we legalize and regulate slavery ?

Why do people act like they care about others when they don't. In reality no one actually cares if other people are doing drugs or not, people are too busy living there own lives to care what other people are doing. As long as people are not causing trouble to others then no one cares about them or what they do.

My point is the meth ,and heroine users aren't going to have a job ,so give them drugs to use or simply ignore that they will steal ,trespass to use drugs .

You forgot that taxation creates underground cartels of that same product .tobacco has had that for years ,pot is no having that .my wife has a card ,pays 160 for that ,it was less then 30 on the street .

Do the math ,would you pay that for the same drug ?that's a problem plus how annoying it is to get a card ,and the fees to the doctor .it will encourage the poor to simply avoid the legal way and simply knowing they need it medically go that route.

300 for the first consultation,75 yearly for that card, plus 150 for each visit afterwards to that doctor ,wait months to get said card, all, the while in pain.

That's effective ?it seems to encourage going underground .I get the lesson from oxy ,but oxy is covered. Pot isn't and I don't need a card to get oxy .

Yes, this is a significant part of the situation in the USA. Meds are hideously expensive due to doing favors for lobbyists, so people try to self medicate with what they can find on the street. Its absurd for Americans to pay several times what the entire rest of the world pays for the same med.

Right. Protect people from murderers and thieves. We don't have the resources to protect full grown adults from themselves. The prisons are so full that violent felons are being released for lack of room.

The rich are not going to pay for enough prisons to lock up all drug users. They just aren't. So just lock up the violent and dishonest in the few prisons the rich are willing to fund.

Mj is grown locally .

I,can get oxy way cheaper and with less hassle under insurances .they did this to avoid pill mills.its not perfect but I understand it.
