What about pedestrians that cross the street or sidewalk without paying? Why should the rich have to pay for roads that other people use?

Pedestrians are not a vehicle that use the road they are just people crossing the road. Cyclists ride on the road like a motorcycle and are classed as a vehicle. They tax gas highly that pays for the roads but electric vehicles and bicycles don't pay. And vehicle registration for ACC that cyclists and electric vehicles don't pay for. That's accident cover all road vehicles pay for and cyclists are high risk and have many accidents.

Cyclists and pedestrians here pay in city limits for sidewalks via a sales tax .I will have to ask how they get it ,either its that or gas tax.

When everyone is under the same system nothing is ever going to be fair, I understand that. I mean the whole country is under ACC and health and safety is strick and it's hard to get a payout if your injured in the workplace and is a long process, but then you get professional sports players where it's there job to play sport , they know before they get on the field or in the ring that they have a high chance of getting injured and when they get injured as most sports players do, injury is just common in sport, they get ACC, and it's millions in payouts.

The regular person does not go to work knowing they have a high chance of getting injured. A professional rugby player goes to work knowing full well they have a high chance of getting injured. There career is high risk.
Lineman do ,police and fireman and corrections do.

Today's weather. Good for fishing. I already been. Only got one small amberjack so released it. By small i mean about 10lb so to some that's big. It's quite funny when I catch baby amberjack and people are amazed how big it is but it's just a baby and not even legal size.

Was on the dock today and this guy visiting from South Africa feel off the dock in the water and I had to pull him out. First time in 20 years I have actually seen someone fall off the dock in the water. It's very hard to accidentally fall in the water, I have no idea how he done it. He wasn't drunk or nothing was just with his family fishing, well trying to fish they had no idea what they were doing so I had to teach.

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of today's news. :)

Wow. I had no idea hard boiled eggs were so dangerous. I would have thought the heat from boiling would have taken care of the germs.

I'm glad Santa is early this year. He will need the extra time to bring all of the presents that I want him to bring me. :)

I'm glad they rescued that owl, and returned it to its habitat.

Good work Patrolman Monte Hamaoui and Sgt. Ronald Flowers.

May the Lord bless you.
