With regard to the UFO toy, I suppose that with anything new you should plug it in where you can monitor it for a few days. Just to be sure you got a good one.

I like the Safe Place program that McDonald's uses. I'm glad they could help that woman. I don't like violence.

I'm appalled that woman made up an abduction story. I'm also appalled that she felt she needed to make up a story to get action. False stories should be eliminated, and also people should feel safe in the city.

Yes all terrorists and anyone else violent should leave the USA. They won't though, because the rich don't want to pay for someone else's security. The rich dwell in gated communities with guards at the gate to keep the hoi polloi out. The rich have chauffeur bodyguards to drive them and keep them safe. The rich don't want to fund security for the non rich, and the non rich can't afford enough police, private security, and prisons to get the job done well. The murder clearance rate is only 50% in some cities. Think about that. Half of all murder cases in some cities are never solved. Some of the people charged are not even the right people. Years later new DNA evidence or some such proves the wrong person spent years in prison while the real murderer still walks the streets.

America is not a rich country. 5% are rich. The majority are just getting by. The bottom 50% are barely getting by. No way can the bottom 50% afford excellent security in their poor neighborhoods. Terrorists can hide there with relative ease. The top 10% richest in the USA last 20 years longer than the poorest 10%, on average.

There are 2 different Americas. One for the rich, and another for the majority. The majority can't afford to locate and deport terrorists from their neighborhoods. The bottom 50% can barely keep food on their tables, let alone have anything at all left over to hire security forces to hunt down terrorists.

I find it hard to believe 50% of the country claim they struggle when most people have iPhones.

You can buy a Tracfone for $30, and a year of cell service from them for $120. Arming, training, and paying security forces is expensive, and the lofty cost of security salaries is every single month. Especially anti terrorist security. The bottom 50% can't afford a lot of security, so they can't find and deport terrorists from their neighborhoods.

Definition of poor ,cause i lived it.

No,water ,tv or power ,no phone at times .living in,a condemned edifice .I,have seen that .its in our country but nothing close to other 3rd or 4th world nations .

Having a cell phone with a smart device or other the Trac phone isn't poverty .
I,have seen the homeless using smart phones and blaring music . it could be down loaded but i have seem,a few charging their phones on private property .

Owing a personal fire arm can be cheaper then an I phone .step daughter has a ccl with a gun under 500 .you can easily spend that on,a smart phone .

Gates communities here have robberies ,boats and docks who would have thunk.drug use occurs in them as well.the wealthy have been caught driving to the know drug have getting their drug of choice.a massive prostitution bust caught plenty of wealthy . .

I'm not,a fan of the mayor but worrying and fear over an attack isn't gonna change them,let the police hunt,the attackers.

Well europa has taxes,licensing on,tv's ,the internet ,car ownership is less common .

I like my,freedom.I watch old people who cant ,walk nor drive often .my,wife may be one sooner then I,think .your idea will simply cost those like me way more,save ,kick the bucket and bequeath it and watch it get taxed despite it not being all that high to your next of kin.it was taxed going in and taxed going out.

Taxation is theft .

Idiot flips out on church, church defends itself. How many more people would have been killed or injured if the church was not armed and had to ring and wait for authorities to arrive?. It was over in like 6 seconds. People worshipping peacefully could actually defend themselves this time

Here's the thing Jason, medicine is twice as expensive in the USA. Eliminate favors to lobbyists and your taxes can be trimmed. (Medicare will cost half as much so FICA can be trimmed.) Your employer can pay you extra cash, because your health insurance will cost your employer half as much. You will be able to buy private insurance (Medigap) for half the current cost when you retire at 65.

The majority win.
 
So its 10pm new years eve and what am I doing, well, not much. I'm home by my self on the deck having a cup of coffee. New year's is a bit over rated. I don't need to go out and party and get drunk and wake up with a hangover for absolutely no reason. It's just another day. I will probably watch a movie soon and fall asleep.

What's the world doing tonight, showing off what city has the best fire works by blowing the most cash. Everyone complains about the poor yet praises and enjoys watching the city blow millions of cash in just a few minutes.
