In Today's News

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of tonight's news. :) I apologize for it being posted later than sooner but I've sort of been not feeling the best and having a rough day today so far. :sad Anyways, the really good news is that I'm feeling a lot better now so it's time to hop right into tonight's report! :boing (Oh yeah and before I get started with tonight's report, I forgot to say earlier that if somebody is truly guilty of a crime that they did no matter how money they have they aren't going to walk free.)

First of all in tonight's news find out what class will be required for students to take in order to graduate in North Carolina high schools.

And although I'm really not happy about this a federal proposal unveiled today that would allow airlines to block emotional support animals. Here's more of the information. :sad

Also Monty Python star Terry Jones passed away last evening at the age of seventy-seven. Here's more of the details and my thoughts and prayers go towards his friends and family members. :pray

And also a Chinese theme park has recently sparked outrage after a pig was pushed two hundred and twenty-three feet off a platform and forced to bungee jump. Here's more. :nonono

And you won't believe just how smart that this little kid is! :mouthdrop (Smarter than me that's for sure!)

Finally in tonight's news if you're going to be in South Florida anytime soon better watch out for falling iguanas. Here's more of the details.

That's all for tonight's news! Have a wonderful rest of the night and stay tuned for more news to come. :yes

Well originally I wasn't going to post this story since I've reported about it in the past, but I'm just curious, should passing school buses get stricter laws and jail time? What do you guys think?

Locking someone in a cage for passing a stopped bus, that's a complete joke and waste of tax payers money. What are you in jail for,? oh, I passed a stopped bus.

Teach kids not to run on the road so they don't get hit would be a start.

I'm not a fan of the news anymore because everything is always just a joke.

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of tonight's news. :)

Teaching children money management is a step in the right direction. Checking and credit is a start, but they will need much more than that. Replace some of those nonsensical classes with more practical stuff like this.

The bus thing is over the top.

Floridians maybe should carry their iguana umbrellas.

May the Lord bless you.

I understand, but at the same time I'm very sorry to hear that. :sad

Ok so only, punish drunk, drivers ,murderers,if they kill, someone ,people will run a bus stoped and one day plow over a kid.imagine a semi trying to stop.at 20 it won't happen and the bus or the kid ,kids in the bus will harmed or killed.

...a bus...

Flashing lights are not an effective solution. Bus drivers should pull into driveways to let off children where practical. Use buses of appropriate dimensions to allow this. If not practical in some cases, let them off on the side of the road where their house is. Its a lazy ineffective procedure to force children to run across the road without an adult with them. The admin just didn't want to put in the work to figure out how to design an effective procedure.

It happens on two way streets .seen it.it happens on 4 lanes ,they don't,make them cross the road ,but the law makes no,difference in that nor should it as you, would have know which side the kids come out from ,I must rush reading ,if I can wait ,so can others.

I have no problem with waiting. I only have a problem with lazy admins who won't implement sensible procedure. Use the lights, but don't depend on them. Let the children off in a safe spot.

My,school board has been that do for decades.

Before we get started with today's news, there's two things that I need to say first. First of all, if a child gets run over by a car then that is a criminal offense no matter what but yes that bus thing is over the top. Second of all believe it or not I have an update for the throwing rocks (and bricks) story so I'm going to get right to it! :salute

Cleveland police have decided to add patrols and detectives from the Major Crimes Unit to investigate (and hopefully prevent from it happening again) further into the case when rocks and bricks were thrown from a bridge last week. Here's more of the information.

And a fifty year old man was killed on the way to a cockfight after his rooster attacked him. Here's more of the details. :nonono

Finally in today's news here's a warning about a viral TikTok video that is causing fires. :nono

That's all for today's news! (And yes I realize that it was extremely brief.) Have a wonderful rest of the day and God's blessings on you. :D

Go police. A job well done. Thanks for protecting people.

As soon as they made it an assualt and crime to discipline a child the next generation decided they can get away with anything. They cannot fear there parents or teachers as authority, they can only fear the police who have guns, battens, tazer's, and cuffs who can lock them in a cage, but the police should not be feared because that is not good for society. The police are not there to be feared because they are there to serve and protect.

Look at the discipline kids had 50 years ago and today. There was no mucking around at school or at home. You got diciplined. Teachers and parents ruled.

Because I actually for once decided to weigh in a amberjack at the fishing club specifically just to beat someone who thought they were a hero when I told them it was small I will beat it and the next day I beat it, so now im currently in the lead by a mile, so now I just need 2nd and 3rd so I get rewarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and then weigh in a couple more and win the average weight, just to annoy everyone.

Why not, Im always humble when it comes to fishing and never show off my fish in a comp, but for once I'm going to weigh in everything and win all the prizes just for fun. Lol.

Edit. I just got another species, should take out first place. Lol.

What's the go with public docks. I got two docks and I only fish the outgoing tide at one and a bit 50ft boat has been sitting there all day.

If I boat comes in I give way, if they need to load, unload, pick up or drop off that's cool, that's what they are there for but people also fish. This idiot decides to park up and sit there all day taking up all the outgoing side not doing nothing. Not many things annoy me in life but this idiot and his boat does.

A public dock is not thee for boats to park up and think they own and sit there all day. Park at the port you get charged like 10k a day

It's not even a local boat, they don't pay the local rates that payed for the dock and the maintenance, my family pay rates.

Think they can just park at the local dock and sit there all day cleaning and working on a boat. They need find a morning if they want to do that. All the locals that use the dock are in and out. Load, unload, pick people up, drop people off whatever, then leave, half hour would be the max I have ever seen, most are just a couple minutes. Not all day like these idiots who are probably from the city. If they are still there tommorow I'm writing a formal complaint.

Rant over.

A new Muppet is being annoying. At the dock and he has this big bag of chum out and there are sharks hanging around it and the fool won't bring the bag in. How does he think he's going to catch fish when he's attracting the sharks. He even said "I should bring the chum in" ages ago. No crap. Still waiting. Hows anyone going to catch fish when you attracting sharks, and even if someone did hook up a fish it will get sharked and you end up with just a head. But it's his right so I cannot do anything.

Then I had a nice bait put and a bird decided to eat it so I caught a bird. It's just a bad day. But I did get one species early today that takes me to leader of the yearly comp. So now I'm winning in 2 categories, I could have had 3 but the other day I was too lazy to weigh in another species.
