In what country do you live?

Well I have an indoor plant belongs to the botanic palm family. And we have beaches in Germany. That's alread two thirds of exotic. :lol

Anyway. Everyone who is not American is exotic in this forum. :shades

I'll have to agree you do have a beach, not tropical but then I didn't clarify.
You are witty spelled fun.

Some guy has a video on youtube with some amazing footage from my town.
The area you see from 4:59 to the end is my neighbourhood. I mean, literally. I live on the plateau, a few kilometers from the actual town and the landscape you see at the end of the video is what I see when I walk 100 meters from my house.

Sorry, the music is horrible. Mute it and play something else in the background while watching. :lol

:nono

In my imagination and dreams, I define the word exotic with palm trees, beaches, and ocean breezes. None of which exist in Germany or Colorado. :sad
that would be my hometown. ironically I care not for palms, beaches and ocean breezes. my wife does, my interest my towns story of creation by the wealthy is interesting. we have a ton of pilots here who like to fly from a strip out of there own property.

Claudya, it is very beautiful. You live in the country, too.
Thanks :)
Well the village I live in is officially part of Jena (a city of 100.000 people, the second largest in my state), but for geographical reasons my city doesn't look very urban. And my village being seperated from the city by the hillside of the plateau is really a bit rural, but it's really not "in the country". Takes 10 min to get to the city center by public transportation or bicycle.

Nice how you mention that it is 2-1/2 times the size of Texas. Those of us that are not Texan love it when this happens as we know how those Texans are about size. :tongue :lol

Ops :D

I've been to FL but I would have liked to go to the Keys and couldn't.
natural Floridian beaches are lost for good. those were once in my town in the 60's and sadly the story goes that is where the mosquitos lived and the blacks as no fool would by the beach there. I cant post any pics yet of that time as I don't have any yet but I know a page on fb that might have some from the 1800's to present. I just saw the canal near where the vero man was and that pic shows it being dredged in the 1913.

This is in our field at just a few mins. ago. 300 yds from the bk. porch. The whole herds counts close to 100. Which are now in our field but I wanted a sliver of the mts. in the pic.

Beautiful looking countryside. Funny looking cows though.

lol, shortly after taking this pic. those funny looking cows decided to chase the horses grazing further down in the field. Here they are trespassing and they think they own the place.

Sydney, Australia. So far I've lived my whole life with 4.8 million others. For a city Sydney's size, posting a picture wouldn't do it justice. I might dig up a few though.

when that ends view the jungle trail one. I marched Nathan up that a few years ago from north of 510 to the pelican island park way and back. he loved it.

I don't know why you would say that everybody knows that Australia is just in southern Texas and Minnesota is in North Texas!:lol

Maybe you're old enough to remember when Alaska was admitted to the union. Some Texans didn't like that their state was now merely the second biggest state. The Alaskan response was "Stop complaining or we'll divide Alaska in two and make Texas the third biggest state."
