That was the whole purpose of the Scopes Monkey trial about 70 years ago.

No the Bible does not teach that, read Genesis chapter 1 to 10 and you will not find that anywhere. And plus even a 1 percent change in man or ape is fatal. So we could not have come from aps. And also in Genesis God said that He made everything after it's own kind. So there you have it, the Master Himself said that.

Tell that to the hardcore evolutionists. :help

Unless God is a monkey, afraid not. Scripture clearly says we are made in God's image.

What conclusion did they come to--the truth of God's word I should hope. Man is the ONLY creature that God made in His own image, breathed into him the breath of life, and gave him dominion over all other life.

GujuBrian, do you know how many arguments I and others have had over the years with evolutionist on this subject ? We have had some hardcore ones here, when this board was real active. Some of the evolutionist were so disruptive, until we had no choice but to ban them.

If evolution is Biblical, why didn't Jesus speak of it?

If evolution is Biblical, why didn't Jesus speak of it? It would seem like the apostles, disciples, and prophets would have spoken about it too.

Re: If evolution is Biblical, why didn't the Jesus speak of it?

The Holy Bible is not a science book and evolution bears no relevance to our salvation. There are a lot of things that Jesus never spoke of.

Indeed. I see no reason to suppose that evolution would be any more 'biblical' than gravity, quantum theory, the weak atomic force or the dynamics of planetary orbits. As far as I am aware, none of these latter topics are regarded as incompatible with Christian belief and none of them is spoken of in the Bible. It seems singularly obsessive that evolution is marked out for particular opprobrium.

Did Jesus believe in evolution?

Did Jesus believe in evolution?

Re: Did Jesus believe in evolution?

He invented it. I suppose that's good enough evidence that He believed it was true.

He is the creator and he has already told us how he did it, anything else is..well.. rubbish.
