Observation takes on many forms. People r observation itself, & god is a person.
If god is his own senses, then how did he create senses?

Hi Truth,Is god his own attributes? If yes, how did he create attributes? Attributes can't create attributes
There r verses explicitly stating that god IS his own attributes, not that he merely posses them. U can't even possess an attribute without being it anyway. Studies show thatHi Truth,
God is a spirit. He's not a man.
God always was and always will be.
He is outside of what He created, including time.
If a man makes a watch, it doesn't mean that the man is a watch.
God has attributes - those revealed to us in the OT and the NT.
God made everything there is and that includes man.
He gave man some of His own attributes.
He did not make more gods.
If we make a watch we can give it some of our attributes.
Maybe we like to make it nice looking,
maybe we're precise so we try to make it precise.
Attributes cannot create attributes, you're right.
But God can create whatever He so wishes.
He's all powerful and out of time.
I wonder what verses you're speaking of.There r verses explicitly stating that god IS his own attributes, not that he merely posses them. U can't even possess an attribute without being it anyway. Studies show that

Could you post them?
Regarding God being an attribute.
Are you speaking of Divine Simplicity?
Is spirit an attribute? If yes, how did he create spirit? If spirit isnt an attribute, then why is it a quality? The official definitions given for the word spirit, is that it's simply something that is a quality. Well, spirit is a quality, is it not?Hi Truth,

I don't have to read the link Truth.God Is His Attributes | Ligonier Ministries
God is indivisible. We cannot separate His attributes as if they were individual puzzle pieces coming together to form a whole. Today, R.C. Sproul states how the doctrine of divine simplicity keeps us from developing skewed ideas of who God is.www.ligonier.org
This article should help clear some confusion. Yes divine simplicity isn't an exception.
You're missing an important point. Is spirit an attribute? If yes, how did he create spirit? If spirit isnt an attribute, then why is it a quality? The official definitions given for the word spirit, is that it's simply something that is a quality. Well, spirit is a quality, is it not?
If god is anger, then how did he create anger? The bible says god created everything, including anger & loveI don't have to read the link Truth.
Divine simplicity just means that God does not HAVE an attribute,
He IS that attribute.
We don't say God is loving or that God loves.
We say that GOD IS love. 1 John 4:8
We might love, but we are not love....
because our love has been marred by the sin nature.
We only possess some sort of love, but we are NOT LOVE in our being.
This is true for every attribute God has.
He IS that attribute.
I don't believe God created anger in us.If god is anger, then how did he create anger? The bible says god created everything, including anger & love
He is anger even in his own words. Did u even read the bible?I don't believe God created anger in us.
I think it's a result of the fall of man in the Garden of Eden.
But let's say God created anger,
why wouldn't He be able to if He created the entire universe?
Did you even read the bible is a little insulting. He is anger even in his own words. Did u even read the bible?
Also, it says he created everything. Just break down what the word everything means. Isn't anger a part of everything?
Was god good when creating everything? Yes he was. God created good while being goodness itself. There's no difference between goodness & good, because every test in science & field shows they display the same consistent results every time.Did you even read the bible is a little insulting.
On this forum we try to be respectful of each other so we could have good conversations.
If you go back to Geneses chapters 1 and 2 it states that God created everything and that IT WAS GOOD.
Picture what life must have been like in the Garden --- it was perfect.
Man got along with his Eve
He got along with God
He got along with animals and nature.
What happened to change all this?
Man fell. Sin came into the world and then nothing was GOOD anymore, but everything became infected with sin.
Including us
our relationship with others
ourselves
God
and nature.
Do you agree with this?
I didn't say God isn't good. Was god good when creating everything? Yes he was. God created good while being goodness itself. There's no difference between goodness & good, because every test in science & field shows they display the same consistent results every time.
If u argue that god isn't good but say he is goodness, then how can u prove it with math & science? Use formulas, use sources. If goodness isn't good, then why do they share all the same attributes. Isn't it more likely that ppl r simply crazy to not notice than it be that goodness isn't good?
Yes he created evil because evil is a thing amongst everything. But genesis tries to argue that evil didn't exist during the 7 days of creation. Funnily enough, it must've because he created Lucifer during those 7 days, and the bible says Lucifer was always evil.I didn't say God isn't good.
I said that He goes beyond being good...
He is goodness itself.
Are you saying that God created evil??
Also, you mention math a science and formulas.
How do you think math works?
Did man INVENT math, or did he DISCOVER math?
How come math works and it could figure out distances and
things we can't even see. Like time.
Math can figure out time.
Don't you think that maybe God put math into place before man even existed?
Don't you think God made the formulas that allows science to do experiments?
Are you studying the reformed faith?Yes he created evil because evil is a thing amongst everything. But genesis tries to argue that evil didn't exist during the 7 days of creation. Funnily enough, it must've because he created Lucifer during those 7 days, and the bible says Lucifer was always evil.
If he created evil then he is evil & wishes evil on us, but will make sure to fix all the evil & save everyone because he would know it's his obligation to do so for the issues he caused. I think that he meets certain definitions of evil but not every definition. I think god understands negativity & evil is inferior overall to positivity & good. Are you studying the reformed faith?
They seem to believe that, yes, God created evil.
If God created evil, how could we ever trust Him?
Does He wish evil on us?
Lucifer was NOT created during the 7 days.
If you notice, the serpent was already in the Garden ready to tempt Eve.
Do you believe God put the serpent there as the reformed do?
God created angels before He created man.
1/3 of the angels rebelled and God abolished them from heaven.
To this day they attempt to drive man to sinful behavior and to win man's soul for themselves.
I have to leave soon.
Maybe we could continue this tomorrow.
