Is It Possible For A Christian To Fall From "Grace"?

I think it's true that a Christian can fall from grace because Paul says we can fall from grace:

"4 You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace." (Galatians 5:4 NASB)

The Galatians were falling from grace by turning away from it to that which is not grace. Grace in this context was the grace of salvation found in faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the receiving of a declaration of righteousness as a gift, as opposed to earning it through one's own righteous work.

Granted the KJ translators use the word in many different ways, but Paul is clearly addressing those that want to become circumcised and follow the Law.

You become separated from the grace of Christ in justification. That's what the Galatians did. Paul exhorts them to come back to reliance on faith in the cross for justification.

The point of which is they have chosen a different way than faith in Christ to be justified. That choice has made the justification they had in Christ of no effect now.
