Is it really possible to make money from home?

And to be specific, to make money online.

I've been searching for the past few days for ways to make money from home, mostly because I don't have transportation. I have to take the bus everywhere I go, and the job I have cleaning an office building on the weekends may not be available for me in the near future. A pity since I loved the job, there is a wonderful freedom in just cleaning empty buildings.

But anyway, back to my problem. I just don't know what's legit and what isn't. Nobody appears trust worthy, every video I search on youtube it just looks like a huckster ready to make a fool out of me. And that the only way I can make even passive income online is to make a fool out of others, or spend up to 9 hours a day doing surveys. Neither of these are at all attractive prospects.

My last and most likely resort is retail. But in all honesty I would rather chew glass than get back into retail. Being a cashier, standing in one place for 8 or 9 hours a day is soul rending. I hate it. Because of this I'm desperate for alternatives. So I thought to ask here because since this is a Christian forum I can at least hope for transparency and honesty. Let's say I wanted to just make minimum wage (7.25) an hour, which is probably asking for too much. Is that possible? Or just 10 dollars a day?

My living situation isn't dire but I need a job. Trying to help my kin with bills and such.

My wife often works at home and her ex co-worker always does.
They edit scientific research and publish the scientific papers.
It only takes 10 years of experience and Masters of English and tons of classes in this area of expertise.

Damon works from home too. But again he is a database MGMT tech...all computer work. When he does go into the office he drives a Lexus.

Those are the jobs I know about. They start at $80k and go up.

Yikes that is a lot of impressive credentials. Unfortunately all I have is a bachelor's degree in graphic design. I might need to look into something more art focused. Medical transcription I think I can do. I have a good typing speed and I have done non medical related transcription before.

You can learn HTML and do website design. Many guys are self taught that are employed... often they have to go into an office...but they can and do a lot at home as well.

It is easy to learn HTML. I learned it to build Web Sites at 50 years old. 95% is in plain English and all you need to learn it is a cheat sheet and you should be able to cop that from a web site by right clicking and saving it by selecting Save as... in your Pictures Directory. Good luck and happy Computing.

InboxDollars is legit. I've gotten checks from them for completing surveys. But it's not efficient, the surveys take a lot of time since you typically earn 25 cents per survey, and would just be bonus income at most.
