is it true, that if you give alot of money to the church, you in turn will receive much money?

I think it's to justify their own greed so they present a false gospel causing devastation to those who lack knowledge and even cause some to fall away from God for they feel like they are not good enough since they are not getting rich.
Yeah and I bet they are trying to scam people out of their money or trying to gain fame and power by offering them cheap way of getting rich, healthy and successful in this world. Because if you can get all of that by simply buying their books and praying, then why bother with hard work and the chance of failure that would normally be neccessary for most kinds of success.

The Bible teaches that we are the temple of God, that he dwells within us.
We need to be building up our house so that God has a holy place to live.
This is where real prosperity comes from.
Read Haggai 1:4-11: NIV

I agree :)

The real prosperity teaching?

Jeremiah 17:7,8 "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Jeremiah 17:10 I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.

Psalms 1:1-3 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

Sounds to me the real prosperity doctrine is in Torah. Bet your prosperity teachers will never preach that one. LOL
