Is Jesus Christ in the flesh?

Is Jesus Christ in the flesh? Why or why not?
1Jn 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

1 Corinthians 15
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Would that be a yes or a no?

Matt 8:28-29
28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
KJV
I wonder how these two devils seen and recognized the Word when they seen him in the flesh?
Do you think they are of God my little children?

Can you please dumb this down a little for me my friend. Is this answer a yes or a no?Is Jesus God in the Flesh?

So you need to understand that it is not saying that only if one believes that Jesus was born in a flesh body, for even unbelievers believe he did.

Everyone that knows history believes that Jesus came in the flesh and died on the cross.
Oh not not everyone. That is why it is very important that we are putting out the truth to our brothers and sisters in Christ. We will be judged for allowing someone to stumble and fall in the Holy Word.

Yes, I am sorry for any anguish,

He is the Word of God whom became flesh just as the Bible says. The Father did not forsake Himself on the cross, He forsook His Word on the cross, The Son is The Word, The Christ of God
Just as their is the Holy Ghost, there is the Father, and The Son/Word
1 John 5:7
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
KJV
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
KJV
John 1:14
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
KJV
1 John 1:1-2
1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
KJV

1 Corinthians 15
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

His flesh is Resurrected and Glorified.

He has flesh and bone, but not necessarily flesh and blood.

39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have."
Luke 24:39

Let me correct it, Everyone who Believes history has heard that Jesus came and died on the cross. I did not say that they believe him to be the Son of God, but that Jesus was born in the flesh and died.
As to him being born in the flesh is the question that you believe it is referring to , Correct?

Not disagreeing with you, JLB, just adding thoughts.
Yes and when He ascended He did not leave that flesh and those bones behind. If they are not with Him then where are they? :shrug

Kathi,
If all who say that Jesus Christ came in the flesh are of God, then how do you explain unbelievers and the devils in the verse I gave you even believing that Jesus came in the flesh? Do you believe they are of God?
Of course not, so this clearly is revealing something else and it is the spiritual understanding of coming in the flesh, meaning the Word in your flesh.

Yes, his flesh and blood covers our sinful flesh.

Hebrews 9:16-17 In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living.

The spotless lamb. And his inheritance includes us now.

Tell me why you do not think Jesus Christ is in the flesh.

1 John 3
2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

"It has not yet been revealed" and "we shall see Him as He is" is a reference to the physical appearance of Jesus.

John says he doesn't know what Jesus looks like.
