Yes, Jesus quoted David to the Pharisees, as they thought that the Messiah would be just another Human King like David, anointed by God, yet Jesus stated that the Messiah was divine, as even their King David called Him his Lord

then to a translation on Google . calling it a JW thing is iffy

The arguments used to state that Jesus is not almighty God, but just a mighty one are some arguments used by the JW to support their heresy of Arianism
