That depends on your understanding of "eternality". On one hand, if we're to inherit an all-encompassing eternal life, this mortal life must be included; on the other hand, this world is NOT eternal, as heavens and earth will eventually pass away.

I disagree. Salvation is instantaneous, Jesus was sacrificed only for once and you accept salvation from his blood only for once; afterward is the lifelong process of sanctification; and when we're resurrected from the dead upon the Lord's return, that's glorification.
