we are not judging them, but i dont call someone that has a sinful life a person that i would go to seek the lord with.

why would i go to a person in sin for knowledge on the heavy biblical stuff that i find here if they rarely attend church, have abortions and so forth.

from what the fruits she(jessica simpson) shows i find it doubtful not impossible, i hope that she does repent.

live with a person and you will know enough about them to see if they are believing what they claim.
if i tell my wife i love her and yet cheat on her with another woman. do i really love her anymore or in her eyes its unlikely that i believe in christ as if i did i wouldnt do that, though i can fall into that sin, and repent.

And just because MA mentioned it... most rappers claim Christianity. I say claim because they do not really show it, but who am I to say if a man is saved or not?

we arent to judge, but i seriously doubt a rapper that lives the gangster life ever really came to christ. especially if he or she sells drugs,murders, and all other manner of the gangsta lifestyle. a change in one's life sooner or later must show up.

Though it does help that social conservatives would agree with a moral Christian on 99% of the issues... I see only a few issues that may arise between them.

It should be said that I became a Christian because I was very into conservative politics and that I stayed a conservative because my new Christian-life was in agreement with the conservative morals.

Of course, economics are a different function all together and the Bible is not very explicit on any single type of economics. Though the same cannot be said about government. Duet. makes a very good case for a ground-up republican government, which is why the founders concluded on the government type that we have outlined in the Constitution.

Yeah, but even morals apart from the gospel is useless in changing society. It is Jesus who changes a person on the inside and this is what changes societies. That's why politics and legislation, even the best side.. has little effect on the moral decay. Only Jesus.
