Is the Chinese 'Year of the Dog' Also The 'Year of the Rapture'?​

Jesus Christ states in the closing chapter of the Book of Revelation that on the outside of the gates of heaven...there will be dogs!

Revelation 22:15
“Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.”

It is interesting that on February 16th 2018 will be the Chinese New Year which will herald in the year of the dog!

I just wonder if the Chinese 'year of the dog' isn't the same dog cited by Jesus Christ in Revelation 22:15. What if the rapture takes place during the Chinese, or lunar, 'year of the dog' when Jesus Christ returns for all of his faithful just before mankind's final judgment.

If the rapture does indeed take place during the Chinese, or lunar, 'year of the dog' then all those who are left behind will indeed become 'dogs on the outside' of God's Holy City.

Another point worth mentioning is that if Revelation 22:15 signifies the 'year of the rapture' as being during 'the year of the dog' then it would validate Christ's saying that 'the first shall be last and the last first' for it must be remarked that the last utterance by Christ in the Book of Revelation is - “Yes, I am coming soon.”

Revelation 22, while being the last chapter in the Book of Revelation and in the bible, points to the rapture as the first event that inaugurates all the other events in the Book of Revelation.

The Book of Revelation depicts mankind's final judgment as Jesus Christ said that man's last days will be like Noah's day and Lot's days. Noah's days ended with God judging mankind from above (hint: rain water) while Lot's days ended with God judging mankind from below (hint: fire and brimstone). The Book of Revelation highlights judgments by God's angels above and judgments by fallen angels (hint: Satan himself) below.

Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

It must be emphasized that days of Noah represent the 'Pillar of Cloud' and the days of Lot represent the 'Pillar of Fire'. Both a Pillar of Cloud and a Pillar of Fire led the Israelites (hint: soon to be the only righteous people left after the rapture) through the desert to the 'Promised Land' which is ultimately heaven itself!

Our last days are indeed God, as Jesus Christ indwelling in every believer through the Holy Spirit, leading his faithful as a Pillar of Cloud (hint: the indwelling Holy Spirit) and as a Pillar of Fire (hint: the resurrected Jesus Christ) through the desert of sin straight to the promised land in heaven.

Believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and then get baptized and rest assured that you'll be included in the rapture when Jesus Christ will return for all of his believers to live a life in heaven for eternity with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit!

There are so few, today, tat will preach all of the scriptures amd even less that will include Fire and Brimstone but God is Love has become so misused that many are so poorly taught that to them Universalism is only logical. They learn nothing of God`s Wrath nor of God`s Justice in these New Covenant and late day New Testament Churches because, not all of, Yhwh`s attributes are taught, resulting in a people deceived.

So why do you want to insinuate that Brother Horvath is in error. In case you don't know, there were many "watchers" saying the same thing. Alan was very careful to say "the rapture could possibly take place 2017". I've noticed that you have a very negative attitude toward other theologians, are you more wise and understanding than they are?...Just asking.

I have great respect for many actual theologians - Alvin Plantinga, Paul Tillich and dozens and dozens of others. Brother Horvath, who may be entirely sincere, has no theological training whatsoever. He is, IMHO, yet one more in a long line of self-appointed "teachers" who, to my complete astonishment, manage to attract sizable flocks. I am astonished that you would give him five minutes of your time, since you had always struck me as being above this sort of thing - but that's between you and God and not my concern.

I have been listening to characters attach "probable dates" to the Rapture since at least 1970, when we were assured that it would be 1972 at the latest. In one version, JFK was being kept alive on Onassis' yacht and would be the beast who seemed to have miraculously recovered from a fatal head wound. BWAHAHAHA, as the saying goes.

This sort of thing is an immediate red flag to me. Theologians do not ratchet-up the faithful with this sort of thing. Self-promoters like Brother Horvath do. Have you noticed, Chopper - because I certainly have, and I believe from comments from others on other threads that they have - what an angry and entirely different character you have become since you became enamored of Horvath? Does this transformation - at least in the character of "kindly Chopper" as it previously appeared in these forums - not concern you at all? Have you honestly looked in a mirror? I am indeed "blind" to the working of the Holy Spirit and anointing on Horvath's ministry of teaching, and it appears that 99% of the rest of the Christian community is as well. You are welcome to hold Horvath in high regard and follow him to the ends of the earth, as are those who follow Benny Hinn, Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland and any number of other supposed men of God. But since you are actively promoting him and his teachings on these forums as though they were from the very mouth of God, I believe I am well within my rights to examine his work and point out his utter lack of qualifications and the inconsistencies in his teachings.

The dog is one of the symbols of the Chinese zodiac. It comes around every 12 years.

Dog in this verse is the same as all who will be left outside the gate after Christ returns as they have heard the gospel preached, but yet reject Christ. A dog is listed as a beast as well as all the others that are listed as beastly people that will have their place in the lake of fire.

The rapture occurs after the resurrection of the dead in Christ, in which both the resurrection and rapture happen at His coming.

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.
