At that point it becomes "cool" to harm, maim, kill unbelievers. It makes them "look good" among their believing peers and authorities. It's not unlike gangs that terrorize a neighborhood once they have the power to do so. I hardly think all members of a gang have a strong propensity toward violence but they know to keep their mouths shut and their opinions to themselves lest they suffer the wrath of fellow members, especially the violent. That's what's going on in London.

Very very well said. And having lived among gang members for years I can attest to the "cool" aspect as well as the reality based fear of harm or even death if one of the members were to protest actions of the gang leaders. I've met many gang members whose hearts are not into all the gang does, but go along with it anyway. I've also met with ones that are truly "hard-core". Invariably those are the leaders and they are easy to fear. Jihadists are scary people. Maybe that really is why American politicians and others are so gung-ho on making "peace" with them, as, I think it was you, suggested in another post.

Exactly. They certainly did it to the Wall Street Occupiers, came in in force and dragged protestors off to jail, using batons on several as well. Of course, those were non-Muslims, Americans, true, but not Muslims, and not under the government's protective wing apparently.

(I have to say I was amazed to learn that Zuccotti Park is "owned" by a private company. I'm convinced that fact was not known to most of the Occupiers.)
 
I just don't get it. but I recall that the army doesn't like us calling the muslims hajis. that was under gwb not Obama.

I know what they do, neither side is innocent in that region. I have seen the mass graves of kids murdered by the red army. whom did they fight? muslims,. so Tessie you suggest we kill muslim kids when they are NOT a threat?!

I wasn't praising Russia...I remember the "Cold War"...just sayin'...And you are way over the top in asking if I think "kids" should be shot, give me a break!
 
that is what Russia did, I wouldn't even bring them up. er they often funded Islamic terror and controlled whom they could attack. chiefly isreal. the ussr/ Russia is very anti-semetic in policy and nature.

an easy way to tell if they are that type of muslims is you would never see a muslim women in public driving. I have seen a few here in my town. one of them a few days ago with her kids shopping. she was in a hijab.

I will be following this story you can surely understand. I want to find out why the banks are closing their accounts, if it is merely a trend for them to close small business accounts or if there is some reason the banks want out of the "Arab-American" market particularly. It is strange since the more accounts the banks have the higher their obscene profits. Why would they want to shut out any groups accounts?

If anyone gets more on this, please share.

Of course. However, the lawsuit will require a defense and if it is because of government warnings of ties to terrorism or other information to that effect, it will have to be properly voiced in order to keep the Muslims' class action lawsuit from being won by default. The lawsuit, according to the info I saw, was only for $75000. The banks might think it's better to just settle it out of court. I believe that would be a huge mistake because then every Muslim with a bad debt or other grievance with the bank will be on them like flies on rice. I'm not a huge fan of huge banks but in this case, I'm hoping for a decisive win and a total defeat for the class action lawsuit.
