Italian Festival

Who is talking about hard shells?
We're talking about tacos, not fast food.
tacos are hard shelled ,I go to Mexican places where English isn't spoken .

no tacos ,but burritos ,fajitas ,chimichungas, and while some might have a taco salad or Mexican pizza ,those are not a tradition .

you make your burrito and fajita ,never heard them call a burrito shell,a taco ,taquito yes but those are soft shell .

you are the one who said hard shells, not me
Correct yourself, not me

tacos are usually hard shell but can be soft shell but in both cases an American thing .

and also I can buy tacos in south western style restaurants ,these aren't fast food .

taco dive is one ,beer is served . and they don't have drive through .

I went to my family's Italian Festival this weekend in Savannah Georgia.
Savannah was fun.
Lots of Italian food.
I brought the Chianti in a basket
Can't have an Italian festival without it.
They had home made punch with sangria.
And of course, Peroni beer.
Anita brought a rum cake and her home made pizza, 3 of them.
Plus some big peaches off of our tree.
Bobby made all the other food.
His wife Karen helped prepare it and serve it.
Two little brats, both great grandchildren.
I guess every family gathering has a couple.
Bobby made rice balls with stuff in it I've never had before, very good with Italian red sauce on them.
He has a cooker outside, and he made a pile of mild AND HOT SAUSAGES WITH ROLLS THAT FIT THEM PERFECT.
HE ALSO BAKED A BIG PAN OF VEGETABLES , peppers and tomatoes and onions and whatever else.
And we put that on the rolls to have with the sausages.
We had Italian cookies and he made Italian donuts.
Also there was a salad and I think that was it.
He had everything decorated Italian with the lights lit up in a bulb, he had two tents, small ones, but they were decorated with the Italian colors.
He had lively Italian music player outside through the wifi and traditional Italian favorites on the TV inside.
We talked with Zachary, Anita's only grandson.
He's in the coast guard and stationed in Puerto Rico.
He has a Puerto Rican girlfriend so I told him we are all coming down to PUERTO RICO FOR HIS WEDDING.
That'll give him something to think about.
Very good time, a lousy motel room, and expensive at that.
We won't go back there again.
Oh, and we had home made meat balls too.

Nice smooth drive home, what more can I say?

Talk later.....

Why drive so far to an Italian festival? All you had to do was go down to the Clubhouse for the monthly meal, right? Osas is a 16th century invention. Florida is one big Italian festival.

So someone made it a way of life in the 16th century.
Good for them.
I made it a way of life in the 21st century.
Good for me.
How about you?

Everyone, 9:30 AM on your you tube on your computer, The Lakewood Church service.
Don't miss it.
I'll be there.

You miss out in the joy of the Holy Spirit because you are overwhelmed by the ways of the world.
no ,I take the word of God over word of faith .

my church had a documentary,specifically,mentioning him,and others .

don't call it sin..

your church sounds like a bunch of finger pointers, hater mongers
I believe one should look at themselves rather than pointing fingers at others
I suppose you all think you are better than Joel Osteen
You are trained to have negative thoughts of him and his ministry, as though you are better than him
That's what the pharisees thought about Jesus

hardly ,my church allows its sanctuary to be rented by a female led church and has had fellowship with her who speaks Spanish and her husband and their church .we are joined to them despite theological differences and even, that pastor doesn't agree with Osteen .

God does intend to heal the creation but we are going to suffer if he so allows it .The cross isn't about a better you ,but a saved you .I redeemed not quite what is the world's better you view .no good lies in me .that is opposite of Osteen

notice it focus on stuff.hid teachings would have me feel lost when I might see God bless others over me and have me lusting over things .I already battle that .

instead I ought to look only to God and him as a source and his approval .I'm not suggesting one can't study ,work to find better pay or bad habits .but the gospel isn't a self help at all.

What a sad example of his ministry.
42 seconds and you shut him off
sounds like a nazi propaganda thing
You must all live a sad ugly poor broken life, thinking God wants you that way.

look I was a full fledged charismatic .I listened to hagin, hinn and Osteen once in a while .

I'm,hardly anticharusmatic but when your gospel message is so water down that i good remove the bible and add Buddhist or my dojo quotes and not see any difference it ain't from God .

the idea of wealth seeking isn't something the church should condone if it is your priority above God

it is the love of money that is the root of all evil .
