It's Not Can One Lose It but Can One Undo It

Thessalonian said:
[4] You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.

Praise the Lord for the following...

John  15 : 2, "Every branch.... in Me..... that does not bear fruit (gold, silver, precious stones), He takes it away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it that it may bear more fruit."

John  15 : 6, "If one does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is dried up; and they gather them and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."

1 Corinthians  3 : 15, "If anyone's work (fruit... gold, silver, precious stones, or wood, stubble, hay) is consumed, he will suffer loss,..... but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire."

See, to be servered from Christ means that one was in Christ,...... and the bible is clear, even the branch that becomes servered.... will be saved.

Take the Jews as an example...... "And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again."

And just in case you want to argue that there is the matter of "not continuing in unbelief",..... this pertains to those Jews who never believe that Jesus is Lord, and not any who have believed.

Nice intelligent post with a slam, bam whole lot of truth.
Thanks.

Something else that I noticed too.,..he prunes the GOOD BRANCHES THAT BEARS FRUIT too. I didn't realise that before. So he severs the branches that don't bear fruit and he also severs the branches that bear fruit so that the vine bears more fruit. I wonder what he does with the branches that bear fruit? Perhaps he throws them in the fire too?

The Holy Ghost is often described as the Holy Ghost AND FIRE...I wonder if that's of any significance since it's the Holy Ghost that guides us. Not only that but God is also a 'consuming' fire so I wonder if when these branches are thrown into the fire do they get chastised by God and changed via the Holy Ghost and fire?

The scripture "....but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire." Seems to allude to that fact!

Believers are being groomed daily to become that which operates within the mind of Christ Jesus. Our spirit is taught what is walking in the flesh, and as the truth becomes known through the Word of God as we mature into the mind of Christ, that flesh which is wrong is cutoff as we obey.

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Colossians 2:8-12

Aaah interesting! The fire of the Holy Ghost is what burns up these dead ole branches that the Lord cuts off of us. Is that kinda what you're saying?

I just find it interesting that the fruitful branches are cut off also...this puts a whole new spin on that particular scripture.

The trick to pruning is that branches that are pruned back produce more fruit.
