Yes, I agree. Nevertheless, many elderly still need help. They don't all have children.

They would probably be accurate and impartial. As long as no hackers got to them.
Do you believe humans will be replaced by intelligence, if robots can ,cook, clean, drive, build, abd design. Yes robots already can design and do also write articles.at what point do we stop this. Not all robot cars are ready for the road. Its still experimental. Might work out eventually.
Do you believe humans will be replaced by intelligence...
No. Robots can help people, if designed right. For example, their are a lot of elderly in Japan, and few youngsters to care for them. Robots can potentially fill the gap.
The problem you see is they can replace all human interaction.No. Robots can help people, if designed right. For example, their are a lot of elderly in Japan, and few youngsters to care for them. Robots can potentially fill the gap.
Human interaction is important. That's what friends, family, and church are for. Robots can do the heavy lifting.
For now, robots are controlled by human doctors in the operating room. Don't know about the future.
They are not perfected yet, so I can understand your wariness. Maybe when robots have a better track record you will have more confidence in them.
If my wife, parents, can't drive ,nor shop for themselves,a nursing home would have to be if I couldn't live with them.Human interaction is important. That's what friends, family, and church are for. Robots can do the heavy lifting.

They can't drive, what makes you think they don't need meds, can't move bowels ,without aids, yes home modification, and also inability to walk .Nursing homes are ferociously expensive Jason. If all they need is groceries delivered, and they want to stay in their home.
Nursing homes are like $100,000 plus per year. How many can afford that?
You are describing an invalid poorly.these that can't drive,or go to a bus to buy groceries won't be in a home getting grocerirs delivered, because they can't cook.
A robot isn't needed, when a person can be paid to drive.
and well said jobless will take up any reduction of that price. hidden costs as sales taxes, and income tax local dinner. The CDC did a report on this topic. To prepare dinner its just walking a few steps to the freezer, lifting one light dinner out of the freezer, and putting that one dinner in the microwave. Shopping by bus is walking a long way to the bus stop, maybe crossing a crowded street to do so, riding a bus to the grocery store, walking around the aisles, and then trying to hold heavy bags of groceries in their arms on bus home. Apples and oranges.
Unless the robot is cheaper, and Social Security income is limited. Medicare part B, D, and Medigap take more of their checks each year. Medical inflation is way beyond the measly CPI adjust given them.
COMMUNITY COACH
Our door-to-door transit system provides convenient transportation for eligible riders with no other means of transportation. Community Coach accommodates riders who use wheelchairs, walkers, canes, service animals and other mobility aids. Our licensed and insured drivers deliver clients to medical appointments,

To become a Community Coach rider, Senior Resource Association’s eligibility specialists will walk you through the process. Determining eligibility is an easy procedure, but required before riding. It is a shared-ride service so passengers should be prepared to make stops along the way to their destination.
Personal care attendants who accompany riders can travel at no cost, but they must have the same reservation as the passenger and register with our eligibility specialists.
