It's Official, The World Is Going to be Taken Over By Robots

It’s Official!

The knowledge of the glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.

According to the Lord, that is.

Well you're the only one then. It's a pretty easy google if you don't believe the scripture...

I'm sorry but I highly doubt I'm the only one who doesn't believe that the world is coming to an end. Of course I could be wrong, but one thing I do know about the scriptures is that only the Father knows when it will be, so why should I spend my time worrying about it? Especially when I'm a follower of Christ. It will happen when it happens.

Matthew 24:36 "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

Did you know the scripture you quoted is a reference to Rosh Hashanah, which is announced by the trumpet or shofar when the new moon is sighted?

It certainly doesn’t mean that nobody knows when Jesus will return, since He has left us with many signs.

IOW, the Day of the Lord will not come as a thief in the night for His Church.

Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news guys but it's happened yet again. Robots are coming closer and closer to conquering the world. I've got two examples for you right now. The first one is how machines are horning in on our jobs. For instance, I've been to like about five different stores within the past month and apparently self checkout is becoming a thing now.

I guess either the employees at the store decided that they weren't getting paid enough, or they just decided to throw in the towel for no reason at all and put it all on the customers. The second example I have for you tonight is that robots are even taking over the movies. I found this article online that I read last night, and although I can see it being a help to some extent, I can also seeing it hurt the stuntmen and women (and sometimes even the actors and actresses themselves) who are just trying to make a living.

Don't give robots the ability to decide to launch ICBMs by themselves, the way Skynet was. That would be silly. Multiple redundant safeguards are the key. Just in case.

A warbot would need additional safeguards compared to a robot vacuum cleaner.

They say those roombas map out your house. I dunno if I would like that. I think I'd rearrange the furniture on it regularly just to strain it's resources.
If we all did it at once it might make skynet crash!

I usually buy a lot of groceries, and it is complicated to balance them all on that scale. Going to the cashier works better for me.

Sure, they might be good for us, but not for the cashiers who are losing their jobs because of it.
Things change ,you like relIable power after a storm ,or a meter reader ?the smart meter enables a restore power quickly,to alert the location exactly where it occured as they can isolate from what is on.Nevermind no reason ro have a cut and off crew .yet this will replace me abd the meter service crew .

I understand the human element but cost wise in some cases I can't blame them.I don't prefer waiting for someone who is slow at the register.

Well you make an extremely good point there but not everybody is slow at the register.

Don't get me wrong, I can definitely see your point too. I realize that it takes a quicker amount of time when you don't have to rely on people as much, but still, as human beings we all have to make a living in some way, shape, or form because it takes money in able to do it.
