It's Time For That question Again

 Joseph and Mary had to go to Bethlehem to pay the taxes that were bestowed upon them by the Democrats, and since taxes are due April 15th, I have to say that Jesus was born in April! 8-)

There are actually three Hebrew Festivals in the Fall: Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), and Tabernacles (Sukkoth). They say that Jesus will come for His Church, then He will return with His church. So if there is a second and a third coming, then the first was most likely the Feast of Tabernacles.
100% in agreement, John.

It is widely believed He was 33 1/2 at crucifixion... a spring birth and death negates that. Plus the Jews were waiting for Elijah to return, at Passover. Jesus says John the Baptist was that Elijah. Matthew 11:12-14 Zacharias even prophesied his son was he who shall prepare the way for the Lord; Luke 1:76 - Malachi 3:1

It all fits like a glove... unless you're O.J. 8-)

I was just reading a borrowed Christian magazine that had a great article in it on this subject, but it only gave a clue to the date.

This article pointed out that Zacharias was the priest, and named the order. If you go back into the Old Testament, you can find out what dates that each priest was to be 'on duty'. They were assigned a week at a time, twice a year.

From there you should be able to get an idea of when John the Baptist was born...and from there about the time that Jesus was born.

Luk 1:5 ¶ There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife [was] of the daughters of Aaron, and her name [was] Elisabeth.

Abia in the OT is Abijah. At some point in, I believe 2 Chron. David appointed what order of priest was to serve during specific times. I am going to do some research on it, however math is not my strength. Does anybody have any info on this?
