I don't think it's strictly necessary for Christian rock musicians to get stretched ears, piercings or tattoos. But then I don't think it's necessary for them to feel inhibited from doing it, either. It's not unusual, anyway, and Jars of Clay's musicians have done it, I think.

Doesn't bother me, anyway!

I've worn earrings in the past, though I've never stretched or worn plugs, have you.

I guess it's something rock musicians do...

Oh I'm sure you're right; it's not only rock musicians that do it!

There's quite an industry that produces plugs and tapers now.

Anyway, a lot of people are actually quite conservative with just one (small) hole pierced each side, aren't they.

Actually, Ive had many piercings. Labret, Monroe, eyebrow, nose, ears.
