Jerusalem Is Mystery Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots!

Jerusalem Is Guilty Of All The Earths Blood, And That Of The Prophets, As Rev 18:24 States, Rome Didn't Exist To Be Guilty Of The Prophets Blood

Revelation 18:24KJV
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Matthew 23:30-37KJV
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Jerusalem Is The "Great City" Where The Lord Was Crucified

Revelation 11:8KJV
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Revelation 14:8KJV
And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Revelation 17:18KJV
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Revelation 18:10KJV
Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

The Jewish Levitical Priesthood was clothed in purple, scarlet, precious stones and gold.

Revelation 17:4KJV
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Exodus 39:8-13KJV
8 And he made the breastplate of cunning work, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
9 It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.
10 And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.
11 And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
12 And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
13 And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were inclosed in ouches of gold in their inclosings.

Ezekiel 16:15-16KJV
15 But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.
16 And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.

Jerusalem Is Built Upon Seven Hills/Mountains, Just As Rome

Revelation 17:9KJV
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

The Seven Hills Of Jerusalem, By Ernest L. Martin, Ph.D.

the City of Jerusalem as it existed in the time of Christ Jesus was also reckoned to be the "City of Seven Hills." This fact was well recognized in Jewish circles. In the Pirke de-Rabbi Eliezer, an 8th century midrashic narrative (section 10), the writer mentioned without commentary (showing that the understanding was well known and required no defense) that "Jerusalem is situated on seven hills"(recorded in The Book of Legends, edited by Bialik and Ravnitzky, p. 371, paragraph 111). And, so it was. Those "seven hills" are easy to identify.

If one starts with the Mount of Olives just to the east of the main City of Jerusalem (but still reckoned to be located within the environs of Jerusalem), there are three summits to that Mount of Olives:
  1. The northern summit (hill) is called Scopus [Hill One],
  2. The middle summit (hill) was called Nob [Hill Two],
  3. The highest point of Olivet itself, and the southern summit (hill) was called in the Holy Scriptures the "Mount of Corruption" or "Mount of Offence" [Hill Three] (II Kings 23:13).
  4. On the middle ridge between the Kedron and the Tyropoeon Valleys there was (formerly) in the south "Mount Zion" [Hill Four] (the original "Mount Zion" and not the later southwest hill that was later called by that name),
  5. The "Ophel Mount" [Hill Five],
  6. To the north of that the "Rock" around which "Fort Antonia" was built [Hill Six],
  7. And finally, there was the southwest hill itself [Hill Seven] that finally became known in the time of Simon the Hasmonean as the new "Mount Zion."

Wikipedia: Jerusalem Gay Pride Parade

The Jerusalem gay pride parade is an annual pride parade taking place in Jerusalem. Since the first March for Pride and Tolerance in 2002, Jerusalem Pride—"Love Without Border"—has become an established event in Jerusalem, each year bringing in additional partners and supporters.

Since the 1990s an annual gay pride parade takes place in Tel Aviv, Israel and sometimes also in Eilat. Tel Aviv had previously been the venue for the only yearly gay pride parade in the Middle East.[citation needed] Tel Aviv was first city in Israel to have a gay pride parade, which started in the street of Shenkin and expanded to large-scale events in the following years. In 2005, 100,000 people participated in the Tel Aviv gay pride parade.

Do your history of what Empire ruled Jerusalem at the time of the Prophets and Disciples. Give ya a hint it's found in Daniel Chapter 7.

Rome didn't exist to be guilty of the Prophets blood, and "All The Righteous Blood Upon The Earth", Jerusalem was and is.

This alone silences your claim of Rome being Mystery Babylon.

It doesn't silence the word of God. Who do you think it was that ruled the Roman province of Judaea (Jerusalem) serving under Emperor Tiberius from A.D 26 to 36. He's known for the trial and crucifixion of Jesus.

Don't you feel quoting the poster is fair when engaged in discussion?

You have excluded my post you are responding to?

"The Prophet Killer" And One that is guilty of "All The Earth's Righteous Blood" below doesn't look like Rome to me?

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets"?

"That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth"?

Since it's only you and I having this discussion I saw no need to reply to your quote you at this time. If others join in then I will reply directly to you.

During its long history, Jerusalem has been destroyed at least twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times as they walked in disobedience to God's commands.

In Matthew 23 Jesus first characterizes the Pharisees, vs. 1-12, then He condemns the Pharisees in vs. 13-36 even calling them serpents and a generation of vipers. Vs. 37-39 Jesus laments over Jerusalem because of the Pharisees (the Jewish Sanhedrin) who had favor with the Roman government and held Caesar as their King as they pledged their alligence to Caesar.

They were in fear of the Roman government in Jerusalem as if they would of let Jesus alone all men would believe on Him and the Romans would come and take away both their lavish lifestyle and nation, John 11:48. The Jewish Sanhedrin had no authority to carry out capital punishment, John 18:31, so they brought Jesus before the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate, who gave the orders for the crucifixion of Jesus by Roman law and the Roman soldiers carried it out even though Pilate could find not fault in Jesus.

It was the Jews who brought down Roman rule over them in Jerusalem for they forsook the statutes and judgments of God as they walked in disobedience. Even today God still waits for them to repent and turn back to Him. This is what Jesus was lamenting over as all that God sent to Jerusalem the Pharisees had them killed.

Notice where it says in Rev 18:24 and all that were slain upon the earth. This means not only in Jerusalem, but even before Jerusalem became the Holy City of God. This goes way back to the first kingdom that was the Babylonian Empire included with all the ten kingdoms (nations) with the last being the Roman Empire John writes about in Rev 13.

Babylonian Empire:
(Iraq) The lion represents the winged lions that guarded the royal places of Babylon.

Medo – Persian Empire:
(Iran) The ribs of the bear are part of the consuming greed that devours the first empire.

Grecian Empire:
(Greece, Turkey, Syria, Egypt) Four wings of the leopard described the swiftness of this empire that ran from 334-331BC. It wrestled world dominion from Medo-Persia. After the death of Alexander the Great the kingdom was divided into four minor kingdoms that continued as prominent factors in world politics until the Roman Empire gathered it back as one kingdom.

Roman Empire: (little horn, Daniel 8:9-14, 23-27)
Iron represents the stronghold this nation had. Daniel chapter 2 mentions the iron element of this empire that it to will be divided and broken as God will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. This is the Empire that received a deadly wound in 1798 and was healed in 1929 that John sees this vision in Rev 13

I will request your courtesy in that you quote my post, it's no extra work on your part, thanks.

God's word in Matthew 23:30-37 clearly interprets Revelation 18:24, you disregard the truth, before your very eyes, why?

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets"?

"That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth"?

Revelation 18:24KJV

Take a closer look at Matthew Chapter 23 and who Jesus was addressing as you need to have the full context in order to understand Matthew 23:30-37 and Rev 18:24. It wasn't the Jews living in Jerusalem, but that of the scribes and Pharisees that lived in Jerusalem that Jesus clashed with at different times in His ministry. Many times did the Pharisees try to trick Jesus into saying things that were considered heretical or disloyal to the Roman government that ruled over Jerusalem. They supported the Roman authorities because just like the Sadducees, they enjoyed a privileged status under Roman rule. Pharisees are the ones who killed the prophets and stoned those who God sent to them including Christ.

Now if you take the time and search all the ten kingdoms (Empires) that I already gave you in post # 7starting with Babylon and working through Daniel's description of all ten in Daniel chapter 7 and using history then you will see who has always walked in disobedience to God's statures and commands and have killed His prophets and all that were sent to them from Abel and ending with Jesus as there were around 35 sent by God. Jesus was the only prophet that died and being He was the Messiah was raised again to live to sit at the right hand of God.
