Jesse Duplantis- What on earth?

I like Jesse Duplantis to, however what he was teaching there(I have heard it before) was a mixture of biblical truth, total lies, and entertainment. I can't imagine the Lord being pleased with that message.

Duplantis shares next is extreme heresy, King David is speaking -
"He did use Psalm 23 as an example as he explained, " I allowed God and the anointing to come through in that song. In other songs I sang strongly about my troubles. I think I should have allowed more of the answer to come through, instead of the complaining. Those weren’t his exact words, but I knew that was what he meant. Then he added, " I wish I had written more songs about God’s answers than about my problems.

We all see the divorce in our local churchs

We can all name a christian girl who has had an abortion

We see the smut so many support

How many go to the movies and support filtywood?

sigh it is these types that give charismatics a bad name.

sheesh, read your bible people and compare if the guy is off that much turn him off and dont go back.

yrs ago i listened to him but when i started observing the prosperity gospel movement and him making the typical statement about you must rich if you are christian then its when i decided i was done.

kp yohanlon a true -blue charismatic. reads the word, sees the need, prays and lets the lord work the miracle and souls are set free and needs met.

basic simple christianity.

he has been physically beaten for his faith.

Good idea, when someone starts preaching the prosperity gospel, you know to turn them off. One of the most dangerous of doctrines, especially when the USA is going and preaching that gospel to 3rd world countries, giving them a false hope and teaching them to set up idols for themselves. Looking for wealth instead of God. YIKES!
 
In this tape we have JD saying God did not know what He was doing. and the animals were not living.... He then takes us to Gen 2 to confirm God does not know what He is doing.<O:p></O:p>
Well back in Gen 1 we can see the beast were created with out us and God.. Just a touch of Sunday School memories

theres a member here to whom doesnt post that often but i stay in contact with, man the debates over copeland with her, and also others such as hinn.. she does have a heart and faith for the lord.

but how she listens to these types is beyond me, and she doesnt say that stuff to me at all, in fact i argued this

if a dhalit was poor and God blessed him with a goat and two chickens and he isnt wealthy by our standards but blesses others that dont have milk or eggs then who are we to dare say he isnt blessed by God!!!!!as said dhalit prayed for these things.

she agreed, that is what the lord wants to do, take us from being in bondage to wholeness

does it mean we wont suffer, ever go without, NOPE.

paul went through some hunger periods and lived as god provided.

read up on him in philipians and the other epistles and no "prosperity preacher" can touch Paul's faith.

Amen, jason, Paul had great faith, amazingly so and if we could have faith like that we really could move mountains, huh? I pray one day I will.

I heard in India the Christians did just what you mentioned, they are very poor there and people will leave eggs and milk out for their neighbors who have less. Some Christians are wealthy, but God said it would be very difficult for a wealthy man to be saved, He knows who can handle wealth and not be corrupted by it, but many would be corrupted I'm afraid and so He protects us, imo.

In regards to your friend, there have been times when I believed doctrine that was not true and it really was God who showed me my errs and He is still doing it. The only thing we can do is pray for people in our lives who believe this and other false doctrines.

yes, i often wonder how she does it, but i can count her as true to her word and also having a heart for the lord.

the lord has used her to heal me of some emotional hurts that i cant explain easily.
 
I can sorta understand an uneducated person being taken in by these guys. At the same time it doesn’t take much scripture reading to recognize the falsehoods . I would guess egos are at the base, you know, not wanting to admit we were taken by such a cheap trick….


If your friend is open to the Word of God, Jason just keep showen the difference.

Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

she isnt a chump and has read the word for herself.

she defends herself well,
if these threads werent so prone to hostility i would inform of this debate and let her annie up but she doesnt like to argue and i wont destroy our rapport over it.

i can in the right timing engage her in one of these text debates we have all the time

did just that over the nwo yesterday.
