Jesus will never leave you or forsake you..

Is this verse considered proof of eternal security?

Just a yes or no will do...

Depends on your definition of eternal security so with that you'll have to clarify.

John 10:27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[c]; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

Romans8: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What more do you want Jesus holds you in his hand and what increasingly can separate you from his love?

Hey All,
Yes.
Sidenote: It called a persona,l absolute, and unconditional declaration, Scripture Says. (Geeees what a long way to say a promise.)
1. I--This is Jesus. (Personal)
2. Will never--at no time, no coffee breaks, no holidays (Absolute)
3. Leave-- depart, exit, walk away, or forsake --abandon, being left alone in a time of need (Unconditional)
Quick examples:
Psalms 23:4 David was not forsaken in the valley of the shadow of death.
Matthew 27:46 Jesus is forsaken on the cross " . . . why hast thou forsaken me?"
4. You -- the person to which He is directing this declaration.
Why is this important to the believer?
Something to think about. Keep walking everybody. May God bless,
Taz

Meaning once you become a believer you can never loose your salvation... that this verse could be used toward that being true....
That isn't how I understand the verses you reference. I assume you are referring to Deuteronomy 31:6, Deuteronomy 31:8, Joshua 1:5, Joshua 1:9, Matthew 28:20, Hebrews 13:5, and possibly others. I do not see anything in the surrounding text to indicate that this phrase has anything to do with salvation. What I see is that it is a promise from God that assures us that we can trust Him to always be at our side. He is our helper in times of trouble.
