Job, a look at the man

Ahh ok so it was a retaliatory post over a perceived insult of who you affiliate with. Gotcha.

Sure, twice on this page already. here they are.....
If your insult to me is merely “perceived” than my insult to you is merely your subjective perception.

I gather you don’t see what I mean? That’s what I mean about few Christians feel anything when God is insulted.

Does your church sing “In Christ Alone?” That song is deeply insulting to Gods character.
I am glad to see someone who recognizes how bad this song is. "Till on that cross as Jesus died, the wrath of God was satisfied." That sounds very twisted. Especially when it's sung in a song.

I am totally amazed an atheist gets it when those who say they love God think it’s slander to point it out. They close their eyes and sing with emotion about how God is a monster.

There are places like Europe and North America where the church is extremely unhealthy, and it's obvious to all. Europe just so happens to be much further along with all the gender-bending authority games that wreck absolutely everything. I don't care to get defensive on behalf of Canadians or Americans, even though they are my people, when it comes to church matters. If someone says the church on my continent is sick, I will say yes and amen.

I completely gather what you mean. You are stating that the part of our suffering in Christ in the manner of feeling offended on behalf of God is something that you don't see, to the point of asserting that it isn't happening. That isn't a truth. It does happen. I need not provide you with proof it does, because this is a function of the Holy Spirit. Psalm 69:9. It's a promise to share in His suffering. Again, a promise, not optional. This is why I said where you are is sick if you aren't seeing it.

I find the study of Job interesting. A part of this study that is important is to understand is that God has command of ALL creation, even the baddies. Scripture supports the idea. Those were already given. What I do find odd is that the persona who posted the story doesn't believe that. So some conversation ensues, a bunch of accusations go out about judging God and warnings about elevating ones self above God, and they are coming from a persona who is flat out limiting God's power, a specific power that He says He has. I can totally understand the emotional hit when finding out a truth of God clashes with what cultural "truth" you have been raised with, but if you are going to start teaching Job, you absolutely have to be over that hurdle.

Sorry but the opposite is true

Ok, but I wouldn’t go that far. Suffice it to say all major cults started in the US.

When?

Name it claim it. You declare it happening and so it is.

Problem is the baddies don't do his commands. That’s what makes them “baddies.”

What power do you think that is, exactly?

I am quite far over it, but feel free to point out flaws.

Philippians 3:10

Well now it's just turning into you being upset over a cascade of being wrong. For me the internet is the same as the real world, and in that regard only my wife has the right to bombard me with a host of desperate taunts in order to catch one, just one mistake. No other female gets that privilege.

Good day.

I’n not in the least upset and your ad hominem attack indicates you are very much upset.

Then let’s move along.

Again, not what I said.

It’s telling that so many assume complimentary verses describe them personally. When asked to provide evidence of said compliment, it’s a matter of faith that they are this. Real life doesn’t matter to them.
