Bible Study Job

That's exactly what happened.

And
"GODSHOG" is a license plate for a Harley-Davidson owned by a believer. (heh heh heh)

Down Under you might get the occasional use of swine but generally it's pig, unless you are talking of Hog's Breath Cafe - which I find to be a strange name. You Yankies introduced me to that chain of steak-cooking restaurants.

Are you hogging the highway of life, mate?

Thanks to the late linguist, Eugene Nida's, outstanding work and research on translation over the years, that tribe would be able to understand 'Behold the lamb of God', using that which fits the culture.

Could it be something like this that John the Baptist said, 'Look! The Hog of God who takes away the sin of the world!' It would need to be something like that

The problem with that is they would instantly think of Harley Davidson, lol.
No, seriously, I think anyone needs to learn a bit about the Jewish significance of this very Jewish saying before they're going to gain much understanding of it.
If the tribe has a religion that still practices blood sacrifice, comparisons can be made; but of course you need to be very careful about not "leavening the lump." You'd have to know their religion very thoroughly before utilizing it to further explain. Of course that would also be a great way to reach such a people, really get to know them first.
