Two artists I could spend allllll my time listening to :)

especially Taylor Swift, she's so relate-able
 
Taylor is pretty good for a girl (coming from a boy :P )

I love George Strait the best tho. :yes
 
I love both of them! I got hooked on Johnny Cash as a child because my dad liked him.

Taylor's songs are so relateable. They express exactly what I'm going through.

Awe. How can anyone hate Taylor Swift. If young girls are to be influenced by some of the secular artists, I can think of many who are worse. She's fun, even for a dad. Just hoping she doesn't crash one day and end up in the middle of a magazine.

my wife has old school country music from the 30's and up to the 60's the real country! that is why she says that.
 
Country music has become so homogenized with pop, there's hardly any difference. I believe if the Eagles broke out now, they'd be considered "country". There are some that I don't even consider country until I hear that they've won a CMA award.

"Oh! Okay. She's country. :yes"
 
Give me Reba McEntire & Patsy Clien,and country groups like Poco, and America and Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens & John Denver

I grew up with Cat Stephens playing all around me and love his sound. As nebulous as Christian music is today, his songs would be fully Christian in its tapestry.

(Look at that! I used nebulous & tapestry in one sentence!) I. AM. BRILLIANT. :D

Country singers are usually better that way than pop-stars. I feel bad for Miley. :bigfrown
 
Wow, Willie Nelson, and I did not know that, and I really love Patsy Cline's music. She is the first female Country singer that really moved me, and I wish that she was still around. Did you see the movie Vic, it was great, and very sad when she died in that airplane crash.
 
Yes, we lost many good musicians in plane crashes... Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and <sniff> :sad Stevie Ray.
