So I've had to delete a couple of videos. So, since I don't have the time to view every video and read every lyric sheet, here's what I will do: I've subscribed to this thread. If I find any future videos that have clearly questionable lyrics, questionable video content, I will remove the video AND the poster will no longer be able to post in this thread. You see, it's a Christian site and there are standards. Girls shaking their butts over a guy's head is NOT up to that standard. Talk about doing evil is NOT up to that standard. When in doubt, don't post. And don't use the excuse that you had approval. Here's the deal: If you have to ask, it's not okay. IF you ask, and get approval, and you post it, and I find it objectionable, you'll still get deleted and removed from posting. See? So you use your own best judgment and if you don't know the difference between acceptable and not, I'll teach you.

Music is from God. It's mathematical. Chord theory tells us that chords are built on thirds. If you know chord theory, you can build any chord as long as you know the different key signatures.

So when you hear a harmony, you're probably hearing singers sing the different notes in a chord (like the 1, 3, or 5). It goes beyond the first three notes of a triad but let's keep it simple.

Out of 7 notes in a scale (the 8th is simply the 1 an octave higher) every song that has ever been played or written, comes from those 7 notes (adding accidentals like sharps and flats adds to the texture of a song).

Then comes the writer of the lyrics (if there even are lyrics). Music can convey moods and actions. It's a powerful thing. Listen to Beethoven or Bach and you have to know there is a God who created all this beauty.

So what is appropriate for a Christian site that seeks to honor Christ?

Any song that honors Christ or any song that doesn't dishonor the name of Christ. As this is a Christian site, discretion is the key. I'll share some songs that fit the above maxim

Here they come
