Judaic Christians Judaize

Thanks for the heads up. If I get out of line just tell me. I consider myself to be a grafted in Jew. Probably not the way you all think, but that we can discuss.

Our bibles say Jew, but it should read in some places as Judaism. Actually we are grafted into Judaism. That is, under the New Covenant.

Before me no god (was formed)

This verse could translate as (was formed,) or, (formed.)

No one formed God, so the translation would best read: "Before me, no god formed"

So then, you are a (Judaic / Judaeo) Christian.

I am also a Judaic Christian. We were called Judaizers because we kept the Sabbath and moral commandments of God.

Revelation 12:17
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Revelation 22:14
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

What I kinda do:
If I see a concept as a singular noun.
I am open to plural
I am open to past
I am open to future
I am open to plant parallel growth
I am open to animal husbandry if it relates to the concept.

Yes context exists, but let us not forget how broad the way God thinks, and the broad thoughts tend to narrow our way.

If I am bent over a microscope, I can miss seeing a dead tree falling toward the window six feet away.

Do you do PaRDeS? (Wikipedia)
We are grafted into the root and much more.’

Pardes
Jewish exegesis

Pardes is a Kabbalistic theory of Biblical exegesis first advanced by Moses de León. The term, sometimes also rendered PaRDeS, is an acronym formed from the initials of the following four approaches: • Peshat – "surface" or the literal meaning. • Remez – "hints" or the deep meaning beyond just the literal.

I am Anti Gnostic, Pagan, and Mystic.

There is deeper meaning beyond the literal, but that is no reason to dabble in Mysticism.

I was raised a gentile Christian. My parents were gentile Christians. So I don’t want to lead you astray.
But
Without Jewish information I can not see the commandments contained in the ordnances.
If asked to do a thousand word essay I would come up short.

I agree.
PaRDeS is the only thing I know of. I am aware of the source.

Pentecostals do not understand me, and in another sense I am one.

Any group has a chance to come to the light.

I heard an atheist say (one day we will know). Another sitting by said ( after the shock wore off) well I guess we will.

If a Roman official can declare Jesus clean as a sacrifice, then a mystic can have one good idea.

Ordinance is a authoritative decree, and perhaps with directions. So a command is a order, and any ordinance would be directions.

I was raised a baptist, but upon further study I have made some changes in my life.

Ephesians 2:14 kjv
14. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15. Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments containedin ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16. And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17. And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

CherubRam
This is a question.
How are commandments contained in ordinances?
Ephesians 2:15

You andwered by basically giving the definitions for the two words.

How do you explain commandments being contained in ordinances?

I am thinking also

Ordinances are instructions that go with a command.

Judaize Galatians 2:14

YLT

Galatians 2:14
But when I saw that they are not walking uprightly to the truth of the good news, I said to Peter before all, `If thou, being a Jew, in the manner of the nations dost live, and not in the manner of the Jews, how the nations dost thou compel to Judaize?

My translation
Galatians 2:14
But when I saw that they were not walking uprightly according to the truth of the good news, I said to Peter before everyone, If you, being a Jew live in the manner of the nations, and not in the manner of the Jews, then how will you compel the nations to Judaize?
I see the Scripture, but what are you saying?

We are grafted into Judaism.
What is a graft? What is this thing grafted into/onto?

The root trunk is the sustenance of life. The branches are fed from the root.’

Gentiles are grafted into the support of God.

There was a natural branch (the Jewish branch) that was broken off. We as a wild tree were grafted in. The Jewish branch can be re-grafted back in.

We see through a glass darkly.

Revelation 22:16 kjv
16. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Then our understanding has to include the vine and branch concept also.

If we as a gentile would have been grafted into the Judaism branch, we would have been removed with that branch.

We see through a glass darkly.

The new covenant is moving from the natural to the supernatural. It is the inward grafting and not the external.

Romans 2:29 kjv
29. But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise isnot of men, but of God.
