Because I feel like He always deserves it but He doesn't get as nearly as much as He should. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it feels like the only time we ever turn to God is when we need something from Him and then we forget to count our blessings and thank Him for everything that we already have in our lives. I don't say this nearly quite enough, but I feel entirely blessed with the loving friends and family that God has given me. As well as my new online family on here with all my new Christian brothers and sisters. :biggrin2 I'm hoping that the weather will be alright for me to go to church tomorrow and see my beautiful and wonderful loving fiancée next week so please pray for that, but other than that, I'm incredibly happy with my life right now. If were not snowed in from church tomorrow I will be discussing the dates (of my Baptism) I have picked out with my pastor tomorrow after the service. Other than that I will be communicating with him through email. Here is a short video that I just wanted to post here. It is a reading of the children's book The Giving Tree and it is symbolic to me how often we take God for granted. Yet through it all He only wants to make us happy since He loves us very much. :cross

Hi HR, That may be true for some, but as we mature and reject the principles this world is ruled under (growing in grace) we walk daily with the Lord, rejecting or approving every moment of our lives. We spend our waking moments in Spiritual discernment in all that we do. I could not exist with out Christ in me....does that mean that I'm perfect in the flesh.....no. It means that in the weakness of the flesh, we may falter, but Christ is our advocate our propitiation before the throne of Grace. He is our righteousness. That is why Paul gives the example and mystery of the closeness in a godly marriage. (Eph. 5:31-32).

AMEN! Until I was indwelt with the Spirit of God and allowed Him to pick my mate, I was the master of the nine year marriage. My wife and I have been together since November of '91, but that happens when both love God more than their mate.

A godly marriage involves three persons, sort of like a triangle and the closer they get to YHWH the closer they to each other causing each of them to do anything for the other's welfare.
