Kindness attracts kindness

Believe it or not, Kindness attracts kindness. As you treat people so people would treat you.
This may not be scriptural, maybe. (I'm not talking about an eye for an eye thing). But my emphasis is on: we respond well and better to the people who show kindness to us. The relationship is always cordial.

No wonder why Mr. Kindness has a lot of friends and children.

In Proverbs its says: 'A soft answer turneth away wrath'. Sometimes being kind instead of aggressive can reap God-honoring benefits.

Have you ever heard the phrase "kill (not literally) them with kindness". For the most part it works as many people love to steal your joy, but when they see they can not then they begin to question why and it opens a whole dialog of the love of Christ that better be shining through you.

for His glory:

Great post! I love Philippians, where the theme of joy runs through, and it's not something the world can take away.
