Hey folks, I think we have exhausted my OP. Why don't we close this thread and open one that you are presently talking about. Any suggestions?

Your right, your judgement will be as a child of God. Not as someone who is not. God has a plan for you, and your works will be matched to that plan. Did you do all as instructed?

You are a new person, that old you (spirit) is gone. According to James all men are created like God, so we don't curse them. So even by the nature they were created, the unsaved are judged on that level and without excuse. Not us though.

This bothers me, that is what the devil told Eve, "you will exist as Gods," and in the context of Gen 3:3 he meant, "as YHWH," which is not what James was inferring, but was referring to what YHWH said in Gen 1: 27,

...care to explain more fully?

Perhaps OSAS could be the next thread even though there have been threads on OSAS before. I always like to defend "Once Saved Always Saved" and am ready to defend it again because it's the Truth! When I think of the power of God and how He is so determined to populate His Kingdom with people who have decided on their own to obey His Commands, Wow!! And to think that God was so determined to reverse what Adam did because he was deceived by Satan, and how determined God is to finally cast that old devil in the lake of fire and bring Israel to their knees, Wow!! And you think that somehow, a person who believes by faith in His blessed Son for his/her Salvation, that God is just going to sit back on His throne and let that happen? I DON'T THINK SO! NOT!!!!!

Sounds good to me, but because of my schedule I don't have the time to devote to a thread to do it justice.

^^^^^^ AMEN Chopper, ...that describes perfectly my Papa!
