Edward I would ask that you respect evenifigoalone telling you not to respond to her. We all make our own choices, whether they be good or bad, and have to live with the decisions we make. If she wants to reject what God has already said about the unnatural use then that is her choice, even if she acts on it or not.

I respect her and I think she is generally well spoken and fairly intelligent. But is it too much to ask to hear this young Lady's Testimony of how she came to the Lord, and joined us here? I can't recall her ever saying a word about God...?? But there's 500M words about lgbtqrxxyz. That's all she ever talks about. Nobody is victimizing her or attacking her. Just asking good questions, and very legitimate questions.

Or should I not speak about God on this site now?
I'm not trying to stir things up, but I am prone to calling it as I see it, and this little girl raises a lot of questions. I would love to hear her Testimony.

That was in the past. We are dealing with the present and I am taking care of this issue.

Edward has been talking at me for months and I've ignored him for most of that time. He seems to be intentionally misunderstanding me and misreading everything I've said and no amount of explanation is going to change that. I've TRIED, many times over. I'm done.

I'm about to go into work, so I'll leave for now. But if the official stance of the staff is that Edward's behavior will continue, I'm gone and I want my account gone

I have heard her testify of Christ and give her testimony as she does share other things that pertained to scripture. She has repeatedly said she is not active with any women, but that this is the feelings she holds inside her. If she wants to support LBGT then that is her choice. You are just becoming mean in your attitude towards her and for that I am banning you from this thread as I do not need to hear anymore from you. If you have a problem with this then take it to TWTS and we can discuss it further.
 
While I'm going to understand but plenty of males and women heterosexual brag about their sex encounters.

I sure hope believers that partake in censorship know that they will indeed be given the same courtesy at their own judgement, as in not be able to speak.

I am in agreement with you. I guess we are able to hear her heart a little better. She is a good voice on things pertaining to LGBT because she is experiencing it firsthand. I do not doubt her love for God.

It's hard when people totally do not see your heart and intent. I had the same thing happen with a member on here also. He took my words, and completely took them opposite of what I was trying to convey. I guess give them grace? I don't know.

I try. I really do. I don't always have a lot of patience, not as much as I used to. Sometimes the best you can do is shake the dust off your feet and walk away

Edward. You're barking up the wrong tree. Many homosexuals, prostitutes, strippers, adulterers or anyone else living a sexcentric life have suffered childhood sexual assault. Not all, but many. This creates a new normal and a very deep lasting impression. You are, in many cases, blaming victims who are doing their best to cope. Some have handed themselves over because they view it as normal. Others know it's not normal and come to terms as best they can. Still others were traumatized by childhood sexual assault and fully recognize they walk through life deeply injured. While we as Christians cannot accept homosexuality, we can show much more empathy instead of rebuke. Damaging the already damaged is not Christian. We do need to protect the kids though. This is where/when the harvesting takes place and where it needs to be stopped.

Thats the big problem, the Bible doesnt say LGBT people are bad. It says sex between people of the same gender is bad. One is a group of peiple that have a specific feeling, and one is an action. Big difference.


and when one brings this into a Christian forum trying to defend the LBGT they will get opposition. It's not that we hate the gay person, but try to show them, especially when they say they are a Christian,

The biggest stumbling block I think you are having here, and I see most people have is that gay sex and people are not one in the same. If you say you are against lgbt, you are literally saying you are against the people. Lgbt means people who identify their sexuality as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or Trans Gender. It's just a statement that their sexuality is set to L G, or B. Trans means their gender they express is not the one given to them at birth or based on their genetic sex.
It's literally just a status. You may as well sT you are anti people you say they are allergic to peanuts.

that this lifestyle is an abomination to God and brings shame upon that person, Leviticus 18:22; 20:10-21; Romans 1:18-32.

Then all unmarried straight people are just as sinful by that same logic. In their hearts they want to have sex with the opposite gender. That's adultery according to Jesus.

I have gay nieces and cousins and I love them to death, but they know were I stand on this, but it doesn't mean I feel anything less for them. Everyone has the right to make their own decisions, but consequences will follow those decisions in the end.

That's fine. I believe you love your nieces and cousins. I thinkit's more that some of the words you are using imply things you don't intentionally mean.

Maybe instead of saying you Re against lgbt and the "lifestyle", just say you are against gay sex and people expressing genders outside their genetic sex.

Absolutely incorrect. The motivation is the same for not endorsing/celebrating murder of infants. You may label me a misogynist for not supporting a woman in her choice to do that, but the motivation is hatred of sin and not what anyone wants it to be. Same pie, same slice.

I don't care what Edward or anyone else likes to do, but will deal with the issue when it occurs as I have already done. I never said LBGT people are bad people so do not put words in my mouth. I'm against the physical practice of those who are LBGT and only try to share what God has already said about those who change the natural use of a man, woman and animals.

First you misunderstand me as I am against the act, not the person. I give evenifigoalone much credit for trying to abstain from the act per her love she has for the Lord. We all have areas we struggle in, but it does not give anyone the right to judge and condemn us when we try to talk about it.

This is a touchy subject, especially when you are a Christian talking about your feelings in a Christian forum. There will be opposition by those who do not listen and understand what she or anyone else is trying to say. Feelings are not an abomination to God, but the physical act is according to His word. No we no longer put them to death for the unnatural use, but we definitely need to show them grace and mercy as God shows each of us His grace and mercy within our own struggles.
